I couldn't believe this little shit had the nicest private jet I'd ever seen. I was sitting on Lando's private jet heading back home to Monaco. The flight wasn't that long, just six hours, but I wasn't exactly used to traveling like this.

McLaren always made us travel economy, but being friends with Lando and Oscar, definitely had its perks.

"Comfortable, Lia?" Lando asked, teasing me. He sat opposite me, looking completely relaxed.

"Very," I replied. "Thanks for the ride. My flights aren't quite this...spacious."

"Don't mention it," he said, brushing it off casually. "Figured you'd appreciate not dealing with the crowds. You're welcome to always catch a ride with me if we head out at the same time."

Oscar, seated across from both of us, leaned forward with a cheeky smirk. "He just didn't want to be stuck alone with me the whole way. You're his buffer, Lia."

"Oh, I see," I teased, raising an eyebrow at Lando. "I'm here to keep you sane?"

"Pretty much," Lando admitted with a laugh. "Oscar gets annoying after the first hour. Trust me, you'll thank me for this setup."

Oscar rolled his eyes. "Me annoying? You're the cracked out, hyper one who won't ever stop ranting. I'm delightful company, thank you very much."

"So," Lando said, stretching his arms over his head. "What's the plan to kill time? Don't think I can sit still for six hours without doing something. Plus the flight isn't long enough to get in a proper nap."

"Same," I agreed. "I mean, as much as I love staring at the two of you in silence, I'd rather not lose my mind before we land."

Oscar's eyes lit up suddenly and he went through his backpack. "I've got it," he said, pulling out a deck of cards. "Poker, anyone?"

Lando tilted his head, intrigued. "Not a bad idea. You any good?"

Oscar smirked. "Good enough to take all your money, mate."

"We're not betting real money, are we? Because I'm not about to bankrupt myself over a game I haven't played in years. I'm the only one who doesn't have a drivers salary."

"Fine, no money," Lando said with a pout. "But we need stakes. Otherwise, where's the fun?"

"Confident, are we?" Oscar said, leaning back in his seat with a smirk.

"Always," I shot back.

We cleared the table between us and set it up for the game. Oscar shuffled the cards for us while Lando grabbed a handful of snacks from the tray nearby, tossing a pack of pretzels in my direction.

"Fuel for the champion," he said with a wink.

"Careful, Lan, you're hyping me up. I might surprise you and lose it all."

"Bring it on, Lia. Let's see what you've got."

"Prepare to lose, fuckers," Lando added.

As Oscar finished dealing the cards, Lando suddenly stood up and made his way to the small bar area set up at the side of the cabin. I exchanged a look with Oscar, raising an eyebrow.

"What's he up to now?" I asked, watching as Lando sifted through all the drinks the staff prepared for s.

"Probably trying to cheat already," Oscar joked.
