Done in jealous Charles POV
---------------------------------

Carlos, his girlfriend Lucia, Pierre, Kika, Oscar, Ollie and I were lounging on the yacht's deck, soaking in the luxury of this rare off weekend getaway. It should have been relaxing, but my stomach twisted with unease.

Somewhere near the front of the yacht, Antalia, Pierre's little sister and my girlfriend of eight months, was laughing at something Lando had just said. I tried not to glare as Lando, with his usual cheeky grin, leaned in closer to her. My jaw clenched as she brushed her hair behind her ear, a soft blush filling her cheeks.

Carlos slid into the deck chair beside me, stretching his long legs out and sipping on a cocktail. He tilted his head towards the front of the yacht, following my stare.

"You've been staring at Lando for the past five minutes," Carlos said, his voice low so no one else could hear. "What's going on?"

"Nothing," I muttered, a little too quickly.

Carlos smirked. "Is it nothing? Or is it the fact that Lando's been glued to Antalia since we got on this boat?"

I turned to him, narrowing my eyes. "He's just being...Lando."

"Ah," Carlos said knowingly. "That's it...you're jealous."

I shot him a look, but before I could deny it, Lucia called him over to take a picture, leaving me alone with my simmering frustration.

A few minutes later, I walked over to the railing where Antalia was, trying to act casual. She was standing with Lando, who was gesturing wildly as he told some story about how he once ate expired food from hid fridge during a livestream.

"Hey," I said, forcing a smile as I joined them. "What's up guys?"

Antalia looked at me, her eyes twinkling with a mix of amusement and something else only I could read. "Lando was just telling me about the time he ate expired food because he was too lazy."

"Oh, yeah," I said, pretending to be interested. "Classic Lando moment."

Lando, oblivious to my tone, grinned. "It was unhinged. You should've seen it, mate. I hate grocery shopping. Antalia gets it."

I fought the urge to roll my eyes. "I'm sure she does."

"Anyway," Lando continued, "Antalia, before Iw as mentioning the new karting track in Nice. If you ever want to learn how to kart, let me know. I'd be happy to teach you."

"I'm sure she'd prefer a professional instructor," I interjected, a little sharper than I intended.

Antalia raised an eyebrow at me and Lando just laughed. "Alright, Leclerc. No need to be salty."

He ended up walking away, joining the others. Antalia sighed softly, running her hand through her hair, as she leaned against the railing beside me.

"You're terrible at pretending nothing's wrong, you know," she whispered.

I smirked, shaking my head. "Am I really that obvious?"

She glanced at me, her eyes teasing. "Painfully."

I exhaled, dragging a hand through my own hair as I tried to shake off the tension. "I just...It's hard. Being around you and pretending like I don't care, like I don't want to-" I cut myself off before I said too much, but the way her eyes softened told me she understood exactly what I meant.

Antalia's fingers brushed lightly against mine where they rested on the railing, a touch so small it could've been an accident. But it wasn't.

"You think I don't feel the same? I'm not sure how much longer I can stay away," she whispered, her gaze dropping to the water below.
