London was starting to get chilly again, as the wind picked up through the night. Lola pulled her scarf tighter around her neck as her and Lando stepped out of the movie theater. Lando walked ahead to his car, unlocking it with the fob. He looked back at her over his shoulder, smiling to himself at the sight of Lola. She was smiling, her boots clicking against the pavement.

"Any slower and we'll be here until the morning," he teased, holding the car door open for her.

She rolled her eyes, sliding into the passenger seat. "Patience, papaya boy. I know it's not your strong suit."

He smirked as he rounded the car and got into the driver's seat. As he turned the key, starting the engine, the radio turned on and started playing 'Pink Pony Club.' Lola lit up instantly. "Oh my God, I love this song!"

She leaned back in her seat, belting out the lyrics...loudly. Lando laughed, stealing a glance her way. Her fingers tapped along on her thigh and she sang along. Her skirt had ridden up just enough to reveal more of her thighs. The way she moved to the beat, completely carefree, was doing something to him, something he tried to ignore.

But it was hard.

His fingers tightened around the steering wheel as he forced his eyes back to the road, though his thoughts betrayed him. All he could think about was how close they were, how easy it would be to reach over, tilt her chin up, and ki-

"-Lando?"

Her voice pulled him from his thoughts.

"Huh?" he asked, a little too quickly.

"I said, what did you think of the movie? Or were you too busy pretending to hate it to form an opinion?"

He smirked, masking his distraction. "I was analyzing it. Big difference."

"Right," she said, rolling her eyes. "The Lando Norris school of movie analyzing."

He shrugged, tapping his fingers on the wheel as they stopped at a red light. "Well, if they'd spent less time on dramatic music and more on the actual plot, maybe I wouldn't have almost fallen asleep."

"You were not falling asleep," she said, laughing. "I saw you leaning forward like you were so into it."

"Leaning forward doesn't mean I liked it," he countered.

"Sure it doesn't."

She turned back to the radio, singing along again and his attention drifted once more. The way her hair fell over her shoulder, the curve of her neck, the subtle sway of her body as she sang in her chair, it was almost hypnotic.

Lando suddenly pulled into a small parking lot just outside a closed shop. It was dark and there was hardly any light other than the moon. The engine came to a stop and Lola furrowed her brows, looking at him.

"Uh, Lan...why are we stopping here?" she asked, tilting her head.

Lando didn't reply immediately, his grip on the wheel loosening as he leaned back in his seat. A slow smirk spread across his face as he turned to her, his eyes darkening with an all too familiar look.

Lust.

"Oh, come on, Lando," she teased, though her tone was more amused than annoyed. "Right now? Do you ever think about anything else?"
