Mingyu knocked on door softly of Seungkwan's house, the habit he got into himself for little Haeun.
Visiting Seungkwan is the first thing he did after coming home and getting fresh.

He tell his parents that he will be at Seungkwan's house tonight.

It had been a rough day for Seungkwan, one of those days where everything just feels too heavy. He’d spent most of it crying, feeling like he was stuck in a fog of sadness. And after Hansol's visit things felt more heavy than usual. His two-year-old daughter had sensed it too—kids are sharp like that. She’d been quieter than usual, clinging to him in evening , probably confused about why her father was so upset.

By the time night rolled around, Seungkwan was drained, sitting on the couch, just staring into space. His little girl was asleep in his lap, her small breaths the only sound in the room.

There was a soft knock on the door. He didn’t need to guess who it was—Mingyu had already texted him earlier, checking in. Without saying much, Seungkwan let him in, and Mingyu immediately noticed the tired, broken look on his friend’s face and the sleeping toddler snuggled against him.

“Hey,” Mingyu said quietly, taking a seat next to Seungkwan on the couch.

Seungkwan just nodded, not really having the energy to say much. Mingyu didn’t push him. He just slipped his arm around Seungkwan’s shoulders, pulling him in close. That simple gesture was enough to make Seungkwan’s tears come rushing back. He leaned into Mingyu, crying quietly, his body shaking with the sobs he’d tried to hold back all day.

“I’m just so tired,” Seungkwan whispered after a while, his voice breaking. “I don’t know what to do anymore.”

Mingyu tightened his grip on him. “You don’t have to figure it out alone. I’m here.”

The two sat there in silence for a bit, the dim light from the kitchen barely lighting up the room. Mingyu didn’t say much, just kept rubbing slow, comforting circles on Seungkwan’s back, giving him the space to let it all out.

After a while, Seungkwan’s crying slowed down, leaving only soft sniffles. His daughter shifted a bit in her sleep but didn’t wake, still curled up against him.

“You wanna get some fresh air?” Mingyu suggested gently, nodding towards the small balcony. “Might help clear your head.”

Seungkwan carefully moved his daughter to the couch and followed Mingyu outside. The night air was cool and crisp, and for the first time all day, Seungkwan felt like he could breathe a little easier. The sky above them was clear, stars twinkling brighter than usual. It was a peaceful moment, just standing there in the quiet.

“I used to love looking at the stars,” Seungkwan said after a while, his voice still hoarse. “I don’t even remember the last time I just stood still and looked.”

Mingyu leaned against the railing, gazing up at the sky. “It’s calming, right? Makes you realize how small everything is in the grand scheme of things.”

Seungkwan nodded. Just standing there under the stars with Mingyu made things feel a little less overwhelming, even if only for a moment.

His daughter stirred inside, letting out a soft whimper, and Seungkwan turned to go to her, but Mingyu was already on it. “I got her,” he said, walking over and scooping her up gently. The little girl nuzzled into Mingyu’s chest, her tiny hand clutching his shirt as she settled back into sleep without a fuss.

Seungkwan watched them, a faint smile tugging at his lips. Mingyu had this way of making things better without even trying. He wasn’t just there for Seungkwan; he was there for his daughter too.

“Thanks, man,” Seungkwan said quietly, his voice still shaky but full of gratitude.

Mingyu gave him a soft, reassuring smile. “Always, bro. You know that.”

And standing there under the night sky, with his friend by his side and his daughter safe in Mingyu’s arms, Seungkwan felt like maybe, just maybe, things would be okay.

He cleaned the messed he made while ago,he even freshly wrapped his wounds in bandages and now feeling of third of person who is actually here to support and not bother, Seungkwan get the feeling of satisfaction, like in the end it's clean and neat.
