"MinMin where are we going?" Asked Jeongin standing on sofa, as Seokmin zip up his sweater and pull out earmuffs neatly.
"To Doctor"
"Why!? No one Ill."
"Your dad is-"
"He ain't, neither he sneeze nor his nose flow."
"Ohh well because he is sad.."
"Huh?
Then let's go to see fish why doctor?""Cause Doctor helps in Sadness , we can go to see fish after that, how that sounds?"
"Good!" Jeongin jumped in Seokmin's arm who catches him and spinned.
"You guys ready?" Joshua said coming out from bedroom, wearing oversized jacket for winter protection , hiding face behind muffler already.
Well all credits goes to Seokmin and his patience that Joshua is ready to go therapist.
Seokmin still think it as Miracle , like How Joshua even agreed!
But somewhere in his heart he want Seungkwan there to, in front of therapist finally dealing with Depression in proper way.
"Dad, we going to see fish after? Minmin promised!" Jeongin jumped of sofa and walked towards Joshua.
"Ofcourse!
Then big shark gonna eat Jeongin!" Joshua said dramatically imitating shark as Jeongin ran away.._
"Good Morning." It was Mr. Choi.
Hansol rubbed his eyes half dazily and sat up looking at his father in question.
"You passed out yesterday." Father said.
"Hey! He just woke up, don't start now." Mrs. Choi said in voice of scolding.
"I did?"
"Hmm" Seungcheol said.
"Doctor said , you holding so much for while and it just bursted out..
It's good though" he continued.
"Hmm" Hansol replied solemnly.
"Why you said no to Seungkwan back in the days?" Mr. Choi asked straight face.
"Don't.. now.." Mrs Choi again said ..
"I saw Hyung and his lover and Mom whole thing..
So thought ...
Not having lover is ideal thing to do..
And after the pregnancy news, I felt like he tries to trap me, so I just step away from him, to make myself safe." His voice is low, maybe because he just woke or sadness is to deep.
"It's my fault?" Mrs. Choi whispered, "How could I messed up this much?" Her voice shivered.
"It is your fault" Mr Choi said.
"You and your prestige not only ruined one but three lives now probably 5 to 6.."
There was huge pause in room
Like something of 3 minutes.. no one spoke no one looked at eachother..
Untill Jeonghan entered in room holding tray of Tea..
"Ohh you woke up?"
_
Seungkwan slumped on the couch, staring blankly at the TV. A rerun of a cooking show played in the background, but he wasn’t paying attention. Haeun sat nearby with her toy blocks, occasionally glancing at her father, Her usual giggles were absent, replaced by a quietness that wasn’t typical for the lively two-year-old.
“Appa” she said softly, holding up a block tower. “Look!”
“Uh-huh, that’s nice,” Seungkwan mumbled, not even turning his head.
Haeun’s face fell. She stood up, her tiny feet padding across the room, and hugged her stuffed bunny tightly.
Suddenly, the door burst open, and in came Mingyu, carrying a giant bag of groceries and a wide grin. “Seungkwan! Your favorite person is here!”
“You wish,” Seungkwan muttered.
Haeun, however, lit up like a Christmas tree. “Gyu Gyu!” she squealed, running to him. Mingyu swooped her up effortlessly and spun her around.
“There’s my favorite girl!” he cooed, planting a kiss on her cheek.
Seungkwan sighed. “Mingyu, what are you doing here? I didn’t invite you.”
“Exactly why I came,” Mingyu quipped, plopping onto the couch next to Seungkwan with Haeun in tow. “I heard from someone—” he gave Seungkwan a pointed look, “—that things have been rough, so I’m here to help.”
“By barging in?”
“By saving the day,” Mingyu corrected. “I brought food, energy, and charm. All the essentials.”
He handed Haeun a cookie from his bag, then looked at Seungkwan seriously. “Listen, Kwan, you’re not okay, and that’s okay. But Haeun needs you to be present. Look at her—she misses you.”
Seungkwan glanced at Haeun, who was happily munching on her cookie but occasionally sneaking glances at her dad. Guilt crept in.
“She’s fine,” Seungkwan said weakly.
“She’s not, and you know it,” Mingyu said gently. “I’m not saying you need to fix everything overnight. But you need to try.”
“I don’t even know where to start,” Seungkwan admitted, his voice cracking.
Mingyu leaned back, balancing Haeun on his knee. “Lucky for you, I’m a man of many talents. Step one: eat something. Step two: therapy. I’ll watch Haeun whenever you need me to.”
“Therapy?” Seungkwan groaned. “Did Soonyoung hyung put you up to this?”
“Nope,” Mingyu said proudly. “This is all me. And let’s be honest, I’m more convincing.
Ok let me be honest..
I talked to Wonwoo Hyung..
He said you need Therapy ASAP!
Like in emergency mode!"Haeun reached out and patted Seungkwan’s arm. “Appa sad?” she asked, her big eyes filled with concern.
That was the breaking point. Seungkwan pulled her into a hug, burying his face in her hair. “appa’s okay, baby,” he whispered, though his voice wavered.
Mingyu placed a comforting hand on Seungkwan’s shoulder. “You’re not alone in this, Kwan. We’re all here for you. And Haeun? She’s going to grow up knowing her Appa is the strongest, bravest person ever.”
Seungkwan sniffed, giving a small nod. “Fine. I’ll think about therapy. But only if you promise not to burn my kitchen down while babysitting.”
“No promises,” Mingyu teased, grinning.
Haeun giggled, the sound finally bringing a genuine smile to Seungkwan’s face.
'Should I get Therapy? ' he thought to himself.
