I got you.

Kali's body didn't feel like her own, she was staring at herself from above. Her legs moved involuntarily towards the Slytherin dorms, but the rational part of her mind begged her to sleep it off, yet she couldn't. Chills ran up and down her, making her shake with a feeling unknown to herself.

It was pretty late, she paced around after Clemson told her what he was doing. The room of requirements just showed her an empty room with white walls, perfect for walking around and thinking, without any interruptions of any kind. It did look like a cell you would find in Azkaban, but she didn't read too much into that.

Her feet stomped against the stone floor, probably waking up everyone in the dorms she passed. She walked heavier than she wanted, but she wasn't in control. Once the dorm she was looking for was in front of her, she immediately pounded her hand on the door, the wood shaking every time she hit it.

This went on for a few seconds until Camden opened the door, a guilty look on his face. "Blaise isn't here." He said, but his lips twisted in a weird way, which tipped her off that he was lying.

"Camden, I have to talk to him." Her voice was eerily calm for how she felt right now. Although her mind was saying she was overreacting, she couldn't bring herself to care.

He stared at her for a few seconds, his eyes bouncing like he was at war, trying to see what to do. Finally, he spoke. "I promise I'm not responsible for anything that he says, okay?" With that he stepped aside and Kali entered the room.

Now, it was obvious why he didn't want for her to enter. Blaise sat in his bed, his eyes the reddest she has ever seen, a somber expression on his face, like he was recounting some events in his mind. He was obviously high, or drunk, or both. He looked at her, but his expression never changed. It was like he was seeing through her, not at her.

Kali turned to Draco, who was standing next to him. "What did you do to him?"

"I promise I came into the dorm and he was high out of his mind, mumbling something about the black lake." Draco shook his head, he seemed really worried. "He's never gotten like this before."

"Blaise." She said his name, seeing if he would react, and he did briefly. His eyes focused on her. "What happened?"

He pursed his lips, never breaking eye contact, like he just remembered she existed. "Thinking of you."

She furrowed her eyebrows, her nose scrunching in confusion. "You were thinking of me and then did this to yourself?"

This made him go back to his trance, he stared at Draco now. "The nightmares."

Kali looked at Draco, too. "What nightmares?"

Camden took a deep breath from behind her. "He has nightmares, that's why he doesn't sleep a lot. He's never told me this, but I know it."

Kali didn't know what to make of the situation. She was really pissed at him, but he looked like a child who had been scolded right now. His eyes were filled with fear, like the consequence of his action scared him. The conversation she wanted to have would have to wait, because she couldn't leave him like this with two dummies.

She approached him slowly, silently begging for him to look at her. "Blaise, can you see me?" She extended her arm towards him, like maybe he could grasp it.

This got his attention and he clung onto her hand. "Darling." He mumbled, his eyes now sparkling with whatever he felt for her. Yanking her forward, he clung to more of her arm.

Instinctively, her free hand went up to his face. Even when he was in this state he looked beautiful, no one could deny that. He looked raw, real. "Yeah, baby." She muttered in a voice softer than her usual one. "You should sleep." Her hand was now on his head, rubbing soothing circles.

Her words made his eyes flutter, closing momentarily and then opening wide again. "Nightmares." He said now, plain as day.

"I'll stay with you the whole night." She promised. Her head swiveled, looking around for her favorite slytherin sweater. If she needed to sleep with her study outfit, she would, but the sweater was more comfy.

Draco tapped her shoulder and handed it to her. "Go get changed in the bathroom. We'll watch him for a few minutes."

She thanked him and almost ran into the closed room, ripped her clothes off and threw on the sweater. She used her wand to make a spell to clean her teeth, and she rushed back out. Blaise was sitting straight up, Draco and Camden looking at him with worried expressions on their faces. They actually looked terrified.

"You sleep with him, we will stay awake to keep an eye on you." Camden assured her, the bags under his eyes were a bit too big to stay up all night.

She shook her head, her hand grabbing onto his shoulder and directing him to his bed. "It's okay. If I need your help I'll just talk. I know Draco is a light sleeper."

They looked at each other warily, but nodded and went to their respective beds. With that, she positioned herself on Blaise's bed, with him cradled next to her, his head on his chest. She made shapes on his back, soothing whatever is making him act like this. It scared her, whatever was going on in that mind of his. He looked defeated.

The lights were off, but she couldn't sleep. No matter how many times she closed her eyes, she couldn't stop thinking about Blaise. He breathed deeply, sleep coursing through his body. He looked peaceful, except for the way his jaw stayed clenched. Usually, he would be completely relaxed in his sleep, but today is not that day.

Kali's eyes started closing on her own, her body needing some sort of break from the stress of the day. That was short lived, because she could feel Blaise starting to twitch, his limbs moving involuntarily. He thrashed back and forth, trying to escape her grip. She let go of him, letting him move however he wanted.

Draco sat up on his bed, looking at Kali with nothing but pain in his gaze. He was just as confused as she was, and that was his best friend. He should've been able to calm him down, but he couldn't.

Blaise shot up, his eyes bloodshot and his breathing erratic. He looked around the room, still under the influence of whatever he took a while back. His eyes met with Draco and he narrowed them, like he wanted to see if he was real.

"It's okay, we're all here." Draco said to him, still in his bed but his hands moving in a calming manner. He turned to Kali. "Are you sure you're okay with him there? I'll sleep on the floor."

She shook her head, giving him a small grateful smile. No matter what front these boys put on, they were all kind, which really made her chest ache wondering if she would have to forget them after the deal with Blaise cut out.

Blaise turned to her, his pupils so big that he looked bigger than his iris. He stared at her for a few moments, then shook his head rapidly, like he was trying to figure out if he was hallucinating.

"It's okay, honey." Kali said, once again a softer quality to her voice. "I got you."

She opened her arms and waited for a few seconds before cuddling into them. This cycle lasted the entire night. He woke up scared and went back to sleep when he noticed she was there. Kali didn't get a blink of sleep, Draco and Camden didn't either, filled with worry, but Blaise was okay and that was all that mattered.

At about five in the morning he fell asleep for the last time and didn't wake up anymore. They took this as a sign and closed their eyes, even if they only slept for a few hours.
