He was humble, polite, and soft-spoken. At first glance, no one would think him exceptional. Yet, it was this quiet nature, paired with his razor-sharp intellect, that made him stand out. Taehyung was a man of few words, but when he did speak, it wa...
Taehyung was having a restless night. He kept twisting and turning in bed, unable to fully drift into sleep. It wasn't that he was uncomfortable-far from it. He was next to Jungkook, his newlywed husband/wifie, someone he already admired deeply. But Taehyung had always been someone who loved to cuddle, finding comfort in the closeness of another. The distance between them, though respectful, made him feel a little unsettled.
On top of that, the shirt he'd forced himself to wear was making him feel confined. He wasn't used to sleeping with anything on his upper body, and now it was suffocating him. His skin itched with the fabric, and no matter how many times he shifted, he couldn't find relief.
And then there was the fact that he was sleeping next to Jungkook-his love. The mere thought made his heart race, but it also filled him with a warmth he couldn't explain. He wanted to hold Jungkook, to feel the gentle rise and fall of his breathing as he slept. But he didn't want to overstep any boundaries, not on their first night together.
Frustrated and half-asleep, Taehyung gave up on finding a comfortable position. He turned slightly to face Jungkook, who was curled up in his oversized hoodie, looking peaceful. His shy prince, his beautiful angel.
Without thinking much, Taehyung gently reached out, brushing a stray strand of hair away from Jungkook's face. His fingers lingered for a second before he pulled his hand back, smiling softly to himself. The closeness eased some of his restlessness, but his body still yearned for the natural comfort he was used to-cuddling and sleeping shirtless.
He sighed quietly, staring at the ceiling. Maybe tomorrow, he thought, closing his eyes once again, trying his best to fall back asleep.

Early morning light filtered through the curtains, casting a soft glow over the room. Jungkook slowly stirred awake, his eyes fluttering open. As usual, he sat up with a sleepy pout on his lips, his bed hair sticking out in all directions, making him look even more adorable.

He rubbed his eyes groggily, feeling the soft warmth of the oversized hoodie he'd worn to sleep. His gaze shifted to Taehyung, who was still fast asleep beside him, looking peaceful yet somehow restless even in his slumber. Jungkook noticed how Taehyung's shirt was slightly untucked, as if he'd been struggling with it throughout the night.
With a soft smile, Jungkook admired the sight for a moment. He looks so different while sleeping, he thought. More vulnerable, more human, less like the composed and confident person he always appears to be.
His lips curled into a small grin as he reached out, almost instinctively, to smooth down a wrinkle in Taehyung's shirt, but stopped himself just before his hand touched him. His heart fluttered, feeling the sudden warmth of affection swell inside him. This was his husband, after all, the person he was bound to for life. It still felt so surreal.
Unable to help himself, Jungkook glanced around the room, remembering all that had happened yesterday, the court marriage, Taehyung showing him around the apartment, and how sweetly he had prepared everything for him. It was a new chapter in his life, and despite the whirlwind of emotions, he felt a sense of contentment.
