Chapter 18 : Rainy day

The evening had begun with laughter and gentle caresses, but soon, Taehyung and Jungkook found themselves unable to resist the electric pull between them. What started as soft whispers and tender touches quickly ignited into something much more passionate. The dim light cast shadows across their intertwined bodies, capturing every curve and angle as they moved together, lost in each other's presence.

Carefully, Jungkook disentangled himself, leaving a soft kiss on Taehyung's forehead before slipping out of bed. Despite his tired body, he felt a warm glow of happiness. Making his way to the kitchen, he prepared breakfast, his mind filled with memories of their intense, beautiful night together. With a mischievous smile, he brewed coffee and flipped pancakes, hoping to surprise Taehyung with a perfect start to the day.

The heavy rain overnight had flooded the roads, bringing the city to a standstill and blessing everyone with an unexpected day off. No one was venturing out, and Taehyung and Jungkook found themselves cocooned in the warmth of their home, savoring the stolen time together.

Jungkook, feeling playful, prepared breakfast and brought it to their room, arranging the tray with extra care. As he entered, Taehyung stirred, slowly waking to see Jungkook standing there, a sweet smile on his face. Without a word, Taehyung pulled Jungkook close, wrapping him tightly in a warm embrace from behind, his arms a safe cocoon around him.

In one swift move, Taehyung scooped Jungkook up, carrying him back to the bed. They settled in, breakfast forgotten for a moment as their gazes lingered on each other, the closeness of the moment amplifying their desire. Taehyung picked up a piece of toast, bringing it to Jungkook's lips, feeding him with a gentle touch. They took turns feeding each other, savoring each bite and each other's company, the intimacy between them as intoxicating as the spicy flavors they shared.

In between bites, their touches lingered a little longer, their fingers tracing over each other's skin, lost in the quiet intensity of the morning. Taehyung's hand drifted to Jungkook's cheek, brushing his thumb along his jawline before leaning in for a lingering kiss, deepening their connection with every touch. They relished the slow, unhurried moments together, knowing that today, they had all the time in the world.

After breakfast and sharing a few tender moments with Taehyung, Jungkook decided to take a bath, hoping it would help clear his mind. He'd been carrying a faint suspicion, a small hope that maybe his symptoms-the nausea, mood swings, the sensitivity-were signs of something more. But as he checked once again, he realized his assumption wasn't right; he wasn't pregnant. The thought was disappointing but also a bit concerning. If he wasn't expecting, then what could be causing these symptoms?

Determined not to let his unease linger, Jungkook made up his mind to consult a doctor. The nausea was persisting, and he wanted to be certain of his health for both his own peace of mind and for Taehyung's. He didn't want Taehyung to worry, especially if it turned out to be something minor. So, deciding to keep it discreet for now, he thought he'd book an appointment and get checked soon.
