As the night deepened, the soft hum of chatter and laughter filled the backyard. Amid the lively conversations, Taehyung noticed Jungkook slumped against the armrest of the couch, his delicate features softened in slumber. His long lashes fluttered briefly as the cold breeze brushed past, making him unconsciously huddle into himself.
Taehyung's gaze softened, and he moved closer. "Look at him," he murmured to himself, brushing a stray strand of hair from Jungkook's face. Without a word, Taehyung bent down, carefully scooping the sleeping Jungkook into his arms. Jungkook instinctively wrapped his arms around Taehyung's neck, burying his face in the crook of his shoulder. His breath was warm against Taehyung's skin, sending a shiver down his spine that wasn't from the cold.
The others noticed Taehyung leaving and paused their conversations momentarily, exchanging knowing smiles but saying nothing.
As Taehyung carried him inside, Jungkook stirred slightly, his soft voice breaking the silence. "Hubby... cold," he mumbled, his words muffled against Taehyung's neck.
Taehyung's heart swelled, his grip tightening protectively around the smaller man. He chuckled quietly, his lips brushing against Jungkook's temple as he whispered, "Don't worry, love. I've got you."
Jungkook snuggled deeper into Taehyung's embrace, his warmth melting into Taehyung's chest. By the time Taehyung reached their room, a faint smile had settled on his lips. He gently laid Jungkook on the bed, pulling the blanket over him, but before he could move away, Jungkook's hand weakly grabbed his wrist.
"Stay," Jungkook murmured, his voice a soft plea.
Taehyung smiled, climbing into bed and pulling Jungkook close again. Wrapping his arms securely around Jungkook, he whispered, "Always."
Jungkook snuggled deeper into Taehyung's embrace, his delicate fingers clutching tightly at Taehyung's shirt as if anchoring himself in his sleep. His soft, warm breaths fanned against Taehyung's face, their noses almost brushing as Jungkook unconsciously shifted closer, his face parallel to Taehyung's.
Taehyung's gaze lingered on Jungkook's peaceful expression-his soft, parted lips, the faint blush dusting his cheeks, and the way his lashes fluttered slightly with each breath. Unable to resist, Taehyung leaned forward and pressed the lightest kiss to Jungkook's lips, savoring their softness.
As his lips brushed against Jungkook's, the smaller man mumbled something incoherent in his sleep, his voice barely a whisper. Taehyung chuckled softly, his deep voice vibrating in the quiet room. His thumb gently traced the tiny mole under Jungkook's lower lip, the touch tender and filled with adoration.
"My baby bunny," Taehyung murmured under his breath, placing a soft kiss on the mole, his lips lingering there for a moment. Jungkook stirred slightly but didn't wake, his body instinctively curling closer to Taehyung's warmth.
Taehyung's heart swelled with affection as he whispered, "Even in your dreams, you're mine." With a final kiss to Jungkook's forehead, he settled back into the pillows, his arms wrapped securely around his sleeping husband. Taehyung closed his eyes, his lips still curved in a gentle smile, and let sleep claim him, comforted by the steady rhythm of Jungkook's breaths against his chest.

The morning sunlight filtered through the curtains, gently warming Jungkook's face as he stirred from his peaceful slumber. He blinked a few times, his doe-like eyes adjusting to the soft glow of the room. His body felt well-rested, cocooned in the lingering warmth of Taehyung's embrace from the night before.
As he sat up, memories of Aunt Hari's manipulative words from the previous day resurfaced. She had tried to poison his mind, painting Taehyung as unworthy and opportunistic. Jungkook's lips pressed into a thin line for a brief moment, but then a soft smile spread across his face. Was he going to fall for such manipulation? Absolutely not.
