The next morning, Taehyung and Jungkook were on their way to Jeon Corps, but the mood in the car was anything but normal. Taehyung, ever the dramatic husband, was sulking, his lips slightly jutting out in a pout.
And the reason? His Kookie hadn't let him kiss him before leaving the house.
Jungkook sighed, rolling his eyes at Taehyung's antics. Seriously? He thought. This was the same man who had practically broken his back the entire night and again in the morning, yet here he was, pouting over a missed kiss.
"Hyungie," Jungkook finally said, unable to ignore Taehyung's gaze lingering on him instead of the road. "Stop looking at me and focus on driving! And stop pouting, or I swear, you're not sleeping on the bed tonight."
Taehyung's pout deepened as he spared a glance at the road before shooting another look at Jungkook. "How could you leave me kiss-less, Kookie? I'm emotionally scarred."
Jungkook snorted. "You're ridiculous. You got plenty of kisses last night. Drive, or we're both going to be late!"
But even as he reprimanded his husband, Jungkook couldn't hide the small smile tugging at the corner of his lips. Taehyung's playful sulking was just one of the many reasons he loved him-though he'd never admit it out loud right now.
As soon as they stepped into Jeon Corp, Taehyung's entire demeanor shifted. The playful, pouting husband Jungkook had been teasing moments ago was now gone, replaced by the sharp, confident, and impeccably professional CFO. His gaze was intense, his strides purposeful, and his tone crisp and commanding. It was as if a switch had flipped, and Jungkook couldn't help but marvel at the transformation.
Jungkook, clutching his bag, followed a step behind, his wide eyes fixed on Taehyung. How does he do that? he wondered, still in awe of his husband's duality. From the cuddly, sulking man in their car to the no-nonsense leader he saw now -it was mesmerizing.
Noticing Jungkook's awestruck expression, Taehyung smirked and leaned down, his lips brushing against Jungkook's ear as he whispered, "Close your mouth, bun, or I'll kiss you till you drop. Right here. In front of everyone."
Jungkook's face flushed crimson, and he immediately shut his mouth, glaring up at Taehyung. "Hyung!" he hissed under his breath, flustered but trying to maintain some composure in the bustling lobby.
Taehyung chuckled softly, his smirk never fading, and straightened up, already radiating the powerful aura of the company's CFO. Meanwhile, Jungkook found himself simultaneously annoyed and hopelessly smitten. How is this man even real?

Jungkook made his way to the fashion department, where he was immediately greeted by a flurry of activity. His subordinates approached him with updates, and the familiar faces of models he had worked with before smiled and nodded in acknowledgment. Their warm greetings made Jungkook feel at ease, but it wasn't long before his attention shifted to the new models-the ones who would be the future faces of Jeon Fashion in Jimin's temporary absence.
Jungkook was doing his best to fill in for Jimin, who was set to return to work in two days after completing his three-month leave. Jimin would work for a month and a half before taking maternity leave again, so Jungkook was determined to keep things running smoothly in the meantime.
While the experienced models carried themselves with professionalism and mutual respect, the new ones seemed... different. They were full of themselves, strutting around like they owned the place. Their haughty expressions and dismissive attitude were hard to ignore.
Jungkook raised an eyebrow as he watched one of them glance at him briefly before turning away with a flip of their hair. Excuse me? he thought. You're new here. At least show some respect instead of acting like you're on top of the world already.
