Jungkook had been buzzing with excitement for days, practically counting down the minutes until their planned trip to Daegu. He had never visited Taehyung's family home before, and the idea of finally seeing the place where Taehyung had grown up filled him with an overwhelming sense of eagerness.

Moreover, Jungkook was looking forward to experiencing village life. He'd heard so many stories about the peaceful fields, the fresh air, and the charm of Daegu's countryside, but he had never seen it firsthand. It was the perfect escape from the bustling city, and he was thrilled to share it with Taehyung, Yoongi, and Jimin.

On the morning of their departure, Jungkook could barely contain himself. He was practically bouncing with excitement, going over their plans and making sure they had everything packed. "Taetae, we're really going to your childhood home! And we get to explore the village!" he said, eyes shining.

Taehyung chuckled, watching his husband's joy with adoration. "Yes, we are, and you're going to love it. It's a slower pace there, but I think you'll really enjoy the change."

Jungkook grinned, grabbing Taehyung's hand as they prepared to leave. "I can't wait to meet everyone and see all the places you grew up hearing about. This trip is going to be amazing!"

Jungkook's excitement only grew as they headed to Daegu. His eyes sparkled with pure wonder, and he couldn't stop himself from peppering Taehyung with questions about the village life he'd heard so much about.

"Taetae, do you think we'll see animals roaming around freely?" he asked eagerly, practically bouncing in his seat. "Like cows and chickens in the open fields? Can I pet them? Will they let me?"

Taehyung chuckled, his eyes soft as he looked at Jungkook's bright expression. "Yes, there are cows and chickens around, but they might be a bit shy. Maybe we can find a friendly one for you to pet," he assured him.

Jungkook's eyes grew even wider. "And-and do we get to eat fresh food straight from the farm? Like vegetables that people pick that same day? Or maybe milk from a real cow?"

Taehyung nodded, completely enchanted by Jungkook's excitement. "Absolutely. My mom has a small vegetable garden, and we can go there to pick some ourselves. And my dad's friend has a farm nearby, so if you want fresh milk, we can make it happen."

"Ohhh!" Jungkook clasped his hands in delight. "And do people really sit outside in the evenings just talking under the stars? With like, little lanterns and stuff?"

"Yes," Taehyung replied with a warm smile. "In the evenings, everyone gathers to relax and chat. It's one of the best parts. You'll love it."

Jungkook practically melted at the thought. "Taetae, this sounds magical," he sighed dreamily, his head resting against Taehyung's shoulder. Then, with another spark of curiosity, he sat up and asked, "Will there be a pond or river nearby? I want to try dipping my feet in the water! Or maybe I'll even catch a fish-do people really fish there?"

Taehyung chuckled again, his heart full from watching Jungkook's childlike wonder. "Yes, there's a river not too far away, and fishing is a big thing there. I'll take you, and maybe we'll catch something together."

Jungkook's smile stretched wide, and he leaned over to peck Taehyung's cheek. "This is going to be the best trip ever, Taetae. Thank you for bringing me along!"

Taehyung wrapped an arm around him, planting a soft kiss on his forehead. "There's nowhere else I'd rather be than showing my precious husband around my hometown," he whispered. And as Jungkook excitedly chattered on, Taehyung's heart swelled with love, enjoying every moment of his husband's adorable curiosity.

Taehyung's family, descended from an ancient clan in southern Korea, held a deep respect for the traditions passed down through generations. This heritage was cherished and kept alive with dedication, especially during significant events like welcoming a new family member. As Taehyung and Jungkook arrived at the family estate, the atmosphere was steeped in both reverence and excitement.
