Taehyung was buzzing with excitement as he prepared for a special date with his precious wifey, Jungkook. Why not? It was their anniversary, and their kids had strictly instructed them not to return home before 7:00 p.m. Clearly, something big was being planned for the evening, but for now, Taehyung wanted to spend the whole day with Jungkook, just the two of them.

Dressed in his trekking gear, complete with a stylish hat, Taehyung looked effortlessly handsome. He turned to Jungkook, who sat on the bed, fiddling with his hair ties. Taehyung chuckled and knelt before him, taking over the task of tying Jungkook's hair into a neat half-bun. "You’re too pretty to leave this messy," he teased, his fingers carefully fixing each strand to highlight Jungkook's delicate features.

Jungkook, dressed in a layered look a full-sleeve shirt underneath a short-sleeve tee for extra protection against the sun looked adorable and cozy. His porcelain skin glowed, and his bunny smile was enough to make Taehyung’s heart skip a beat.

After finishing, Taehyung cupped Jungkook’s face and softly kissed his nose. "So pretty, I could die," he murmured, placing a hand dramatically over his heart.

Jungkook’s cheeks immediately flushed a deep shade of red, and he playfully pushed Taehyung's shoulder. "Hyung, stop saying such things," he stammered, his voice shy yet tinged with affection. Even after so many years of marriage, Jungkook’s shyness around Taehyung’s compliments remained unchanged, and Taehyung cherished every moment of it.

“Never,” Taehyung grinned mischievously, grabbing Jungkook’s hand and pulling him to his feet. “Come on, bun. We have a whole day of adventures waiting for us.”

With Taehyung leading the way, and Jungkook blushing and giggling beside him, their anniversary day began full of love, laughter, and endless adoration, proving that even after years, their bond was as strong and vibrant as ever.

Taehyung and Jungkook reached the trekking spot, surrounded by lush greenery and the soothing sounds of nature. They walked side by side, their hands occasionally brushing against each other, a comforting reminder of their bond. The sunlight filtered through the leaves, casting a golden glow on the trail. Jungkook's eyes sparkled as he admired the serene surroundings.

"Hyungie," Jungkook began, his voice soft yet filled with emotion, "how far we've come, right? You and me...getting married was the best thing that ever happened to me." He paused, looking at Taehyung with so much love that it made Taehyung's heart skip a beat.

"You came into my life like a protector," Jungkook continued, his voice trembling slightly. "Like my best friend, my lover, the father of our kids, and a great son to my parents. You never made me feel different, like others used to before our marriage. You treated me normally, lovingly. Even during the ups and downs, managing the house before I started my job, you never let me feel less. You treated me like a prince then, and now, you treat me like a queen."

Taehyung stopped walking and turned to face Jungkook, his expression a mixture of tenderness and pride. "Kook, you’ve always been my everything. The moment I saw you, I knew I wanted to be the one to make you happy, to shield you from the world, to be your safe place. And I’d do it all over again, a thousand times."

Taehyung held Jungkook's hands gently as they sat under the shade of a tall tree on their anniversary outing, a serene mountain view stretching before them. His voice softened, filled with warmth and nostalgia.

"Do you remember, bun, how hesitant I was to approach you back then? You were the prince of your family, always surrounded by love and everything you could ever wish for. I admired you silently, knowing my place and my limits. I told myself not to cross a line. But..." Taehyung paused, a small smile curving his lips. "Even the heavens seemed to be on my side. When Namjoon Appa asked me to marry you the day after your broken engagement with Inseyeop, I couldn’t believe it. It felt like a dream. But you know what? I was terrified too."
