As they all sat in the living room, a soft voice from the stairs caught their attention. "Hyung..." It was Jungkook, his voice still a bit groggy as he descended the stairs. His movements were unsteady, each step shaky as he carefully made his way down, the warmth of the clothes Taehyung had laid out for him adding an extra layer of comfort. Jungkook's tousled hair and slightly flushed face showed he had just woken up, still carrying the faint remnants of sleep.Taehyung, ever attentive, immediately noticed his husband's wobbly steps. His heart ached seeing Jungkook so fragile, and without hesitation, he placed his glass down on the table. Taehyung rushed to the stairs, reaching out to scoop Jungkook into his arms before he could stumble any further.
"Careful, baby," Taehyung whispered softly as he cradled his delicate husband, lifting him effortlessly. Jungkook let out a small sigh of relief, his face instinctively nuzzling into Taehyung's chest.
Hoseok, sitting with the others, couldn't help but watch with a mixture of admiration and light-hearted teasing. His younger cousin was being treated like a precious treasure, and while it warmed his heart to see how much Taehyung cared for Jungkook, he couldn't resist a little joke.
Yoonji, Hoseok's wife, leaned over with a teasing smile. "Oh, my poor Kookie looks tired after the morning exercise," she chimed in, her voice light and full of affection. "Brother-in-law Taehyung, you should think about our fragile bunny," she continued, her playful tone making it clear she was enjoying the teasing. "Be soft on him, alright?"
Jungkook, already feeling flustered from the teasing, buried his face deeper into Taehyung's chest, his cheeks burning with embarrassment. His heart fluttered at the warmth of Taehyung's embrace, but the teasing only made him feel more shy.
"Noona, please," Jungkook mumbled, his voice muffled by Taehyung's shirt as he tried to hide from everyone's teasing gaze.
Taehyung chuckled softly, his lips brushing against the top of Jungkook's head as he kissed him gently. "Don't worry, baby. I'll always be gentle with you," Taehyung whispered, giving him an assuring squeeze.
Hoseok couldn't suppress a small laugh at the sight of his cousin, whose cheeks were practically glowing red from the attention. "I'll let you two lovebirds have your moment," he said, still grinning. "But seriously, Taehyung, you're spoiling him."
Taehyung smirked at Hoseok's comment. "Maybe, but Kookie deserves all the attention in the world," he replied, looking down at Jungkook, whose head was still tucked against his chest, hiding from the world.
Yoonji playfully nudged Hoseok. "Well, I think we can all agree that Jungkook is lucky to have someone like Taehyung looking after him."
Jungkook, feeling a mix of embarrassment and happiness, whispered softly, his words barely audible, "I'm not fragile..."
Taehyung, hearing the quiet protest, chuckled and pressed a soft kiss to the top of Jungkook's head. "I know, baby. But to me, you'll always be my precious one, fragile or not."
Jungkook smiled against Taehyung's chest, his heart swelling with affection. The teasing, the comments it didn't matter because, in this moment, he was in the arms of the one person who truly understood him and loved him for who he was.
Mi Rae's attempts to flaunt her seductive charm in front of Taehyung fell flat against Jungkook's effortless simplicity and pure demeanor. Taehyung's gaze never wavered from his husband, his expressions softening with love and care every time he looked at Jungkook. The way Taehyung instinctively adjusted Jungkook's sweater or tucked a stray strand of hair behind his ear was enough to send a clear message: his heart was already taken.
