Jungkook sat at the long conference table, trying to focus on the meeting about the upcoming fashion show. His mind kept drifting, though, especially after he spotted Taehyung across the room. The sight of him in a sharp, red three-piece suit was enough to steal Jungkook's attention. Taehyung looked undeniably handsome, his presence commanding as he laughed with the woman beside him, who was dressed elegantly in a matching outfit that complemented Taehyung's style.
The way they interacted the shared laughter, the ease of their conversation made Jungkook's heart flutter with a mix of admiration and insecurity. He glanced down at his own outfit, a cute oversized t-shirt paired with cargo pants. While he knew he looked adorable, the comparison to the woman's polished look made him feel out of place.
Jungkook bit his lip, feeling the familiar pang of jealousy. Why couldn't he look as sophisticated as they did? He felt a knot tighten in his stomach as he recalled how Taehyung had effortlessly pulled off that striking red suit, embodying elegance and confidence. Jungkook wanted to be that suave and poised, especially in Taehyung's presence.
But then he remembered the way Taehyung's eyes sparkled when he looked at him, how he appreciated Jungkook's laid-back style just as much. The thought made him feel a little better, yet he couldn't shake off the doubt completely.
Finally, as the meeting progressed, Jungkook decided to focus on the discussion, but he couldn't help sneaking glances at Taehyung and the woman. They seemed engrossed in their conversation, and Jungkook felt an urge to join them, to be a part of Taehyung's world outside the confines of their usual routine.
After a while, the meeting wrapped up, and as everyone began to gather their things, Jungkook took a deep breath and made his way over to Taehyung. He approached with a tentative smile, pushing aside the lingering insecurities.
"Hey, Hyung!" Jungkook called out, trying to sound cheerful. "What's so funny?"
Taehyung turned, his face lighting up at the sight of Jungkook. "Kook! You made it! We were just discussing some of the designs for the upcoming show," he said, his voice warm and inviting.
The woman turned to Jungkook, giving him a friendly smile. "Hi! You must be Jungkook. Taehyung talks about you a lot. I'm Hana," she introduced herself, and Jungkook felt a bit more at ease.
"Nice to meet you," Jungkook replied, trying to match her energy.
"Nice outfit!" she complimented, and Jungkook's cheeks warmed slightly.
"Thanks," he said, glancing at Taehyung, who nodded in agreement, his eyes filled with admiration.
"Honestly, I love how you always stay true to yourself, bun," Taehyung said, a playful smile dancing on his lips. "That oversized t-shirt suits you. And you look cute as always."
Jungkook felt his heart swell at the compliment, his worries beginning to melt away. He was reminded once again that it was his unique charm that captured Taehyung's heart, not just appearances.
"Let's go grab a coffee together, yeah?" Taehyung suggested, pulling Jungkook closer as they made their way out of the meeting room. The warmth of Taehyung's hand on the small of his back was reassuring, dispelling any doubts that lingered in Jungkook's mind. He smiled to himself, ready to enjoy the rest of the day with his beloved husband by his side.

Next day
Jungkook sat at the café with his friends, trying to enjoy his day off, but his focus kept drifting to the door. When Taehyung walked in, accompanied by Jung Seoyeon, a wave of insecurity washed over him. Seoyeon looked stunning in her elegant outfit, perfectly polished, while Taehyung, in his tailored suit, exuded an air of confidence and sophistication.
