Chapter Ten - A lie

"Juvia wake up! Go get shower now." Rouge's voice can be heard.

"Mmm be..quite.." Juvia mumbled, still sleepy and she started to moved around.

Why is this seat so comfy?

Juvia moved her hands again and roamed over the soft thing around her.

So soft.. Where is this?

Juvia opened her eyes and sat up. Last thing she know she was in the car with Gray. Juvia widen her eyes in realisation.

"Juvia's in is her bed?" Juvia whispered. "How?"

"What are you muttering over there? Go shower now, and have a breakfast with us."

Rogue was about to close Juvia's door but Juvia stopped him halfway.

"Wait Rouge-nii! Did you put Juvia to her bed last night?"

"Last night?" Rouge asked her confusely.

"Uhh Nevermind Rouge-nii"

Its obvious Rouge-nii wasnt the one that put Juvia's here. So that means..

Gray-san must be the one.. Ugh! That moron!

Juvia took a quick shower, and wore her school uniform. She tied her blue haired in a nice buns and went downstairs to kitchen.

Everyone was there waiting for her. She then come closer to the dining table

"Wowww! These looks delicious! Did you cook these dad?" Juvia said after seeing all kind of dishes at the table.

Rave slightly shook his head and smiled at Juvia.

"No, Gray was the one who did all this. It was so good. You need to try especially his omellete."

"Gray-san can could cook an omellete?" Juvia raised her eyebrow in annoyed, after remembering how Gray gave her harsh critics about her cooking yesterday.

Juvia is not going to eat his food! Never ever in million years!

"No.. Juvia's not hungry anymore.." She said but her stomach began to grumble as loud as music.

"Well your stomach says different things" Gray smirked and wiggled his eyebrows. "Try it."

"No, Juvia has to go now. Bye!"

"Come on sweety, dont be like that. You can sit down next to Gray."

Why Juvia has to sit next to Gray-san?! Oh yeah Juvia forgot -.-" dad was trying to match make us right now!

Juvia had no choice but sit next to Gray and try his food.

Juvia hates to admit it but it was actually delicous, that it melts in Juvia's mouth.

"So Juvia.." Silver started the conversation. "How was my son treating you so far? Have my son kiss you yet?"

Juvia widen her eyes and chocked on her food after hearing what Silver asked her.

*cough* *cough* *cough*

Rave quickly gave his daughter a cup of water. Juvia took it and drank all of it.

"I'm so sorry Juvia. I didnt mean to make you startled." He chuckled a little. "I was teasing you."

"Its okay ojisan." Juvia replied after calming herself.

"Let me rearrange that again, hows your day with him yesterday? Was it fun?" Silver smiled.

This is it! Now Juvia can complained what happened yesterday to Silver ojisan!

"It was bad and it was awful! Juvia hates him! Gray-san ordered Juvia to--"

Gray suddenly shoved one of the sandwiches inside Juvia's mouth.

All eyes were looking at both Juvia and Gray. Gray then let out a long sigh.

"I'm sorry. What Juvia meant to say here was, I was ordering her a long dress yesterday. But she said it was awful.. I thought she might like it but she said to me she hates it.."

What? NO! Thats a lie! Gray-san didnt buy anything for Juvia..

"Wow, thats so harsh Juvia.." Rouge said.

Rouge-nii, Juvia never said those thing!

"Mmm... Mmmm.." Juvia quickly munched the bread.

"Juvia! Thats not a nice thing to say to him! Apologize to him right now." Rave asked her.

Juvia gulped down and finished all the food inside her mouth.

"No! Juvia didnt do anything wrong! Gray-san is lying! He was the one-"

"Just apologize to him." Rave cut his daughter, not giving her a chance to explain.

"Its okay Rave ojisan. I forgave her already."

"I'm so sorry Gray. I didnt know my daughter behaves like that yesterday."

"No, its fine really. Maybe she just need sometimes to accept me." Gray said.

"Right Juvia?" He playfully ruffeled Juvia's hair.

"Dont touch Juvia!" Juvia slapped Gray's hand away from her.

"JUVIA!" Rave slammed his hand at the table and shouted after seeing how his daughter behaves.

"Calm down Rave. You know this thing will happen eventually." Silver said while patting Rave's back.

"Maybe they need their time to talk. Come on guys, just leave both of them here for a while." Rouge sighed after suggested Silver and his father.

Both of them nodded in agreement and left the kitchen.

"Why did you lie to them?! Juvia cant believe you did that! In front of Juvia's dad.." Juvia's eyes began to tear up.

"Oh believe me, I just DID that." He smirked.

"And you know what? You need to keep that stupid mouth of yours shut!"

"Juvia never once lie to dad!"

"You certainly lie to him about having a boyfriend." Gray spoke back.

"Its a different thing!" Juvia defended herself.

"Really? Then I guess you dont mind if I tell him about that?" He smirked again.

"No dont! Please dont! Juvia is begging Gray-san not to tell dad." She was really afraid that Rave will know about this.

"Try not to mess with me next time." Gray taunted her. With that he left Juvia alone in the kitchen.

Rogue then came again to see Juvia. She was holding herself from crying.

"Little sister. You okay?"

Juvia shook her head without looking at him.

"Listen lying is no good. You should stop that. Gray is a good man. I know him well."

"Rogue-nii, but Juvia didnt--"

"I told you stop that. Now finish your food and then go to school."

But Juvia did never lie about that. Why is everyone here siding him..?

Juvia swallowed the lump in her throat and nodded.
