Chapter Twelve - Will you marry me?

"Juvia Lockser. I dont care if you have fiance or not. Will you just marry this boyfriend of yours?" Lyon said as he took a box contained diamond ring.

Lyon's voice were heard by everyone in that area. In just few seconds, the crowds began to surround them both.

"Come on say yes girl!" One person in the crowds yelled. After a while everyone began to cheer and shout for Lyon and Juvia.

"SAY YES"

"SAY YES"

"SAY YES"

"Will you Juvia? Everyone is waiting for you answer." Lyon asked Juvia again with a big smile on his face.

Lyon had been planned to propose Juvia few months ago and finally he got his chance to do this.

Everyone was saying how brave he was, but deep inside he feels nervous eventhough he knows that Juvia will say 'yes' to him.

"No.. Lyon-sama.." Juvia shook her head as she said to him, taking few steps back. Everyone gasped at Juvia's answer.

Lyon froze. He didnt expect that. His eyes that felt with joyness a moment ago now turned into sadness.

"Why?" That was the only word that came from him.

"What the hell? Is this for real?!"

"She shouldn't do that to him!"

"This is so embarrassing to watch."

Everyone was whispering, but it was loud enough for two of them to hear it.

"But you love me Juvia! Then why?!" Lyon laughed frustatedly and ran his fingers through his hair.

"This can't be happening." He whispered to himself.

"Lyon-sama.. You must feel angry at Ju--" Juvia quietly said to him but got cut.

"Yes Juvia, I'm angry! But thats not the point." Lyon then pointed at his chest. "Here. My heart is broken and it hurts so bad inside it.."

He sighed.

"Listen, you dont understand. I love you Juvia! You heard me! I love you!" Lyon began to yell at her.

"...."

"Dont you feel anything for me Juvia? For five years? Tell me even if its just a little.." He groaned moving his hand around, feeling desperate for her answer.

"...."

"Dont you love me no more? Please say something.." Lyon's voice was nearly a whisper.

Everyone was watching in silence and pity for Lyon, while Juvia didnt respond anything that Lyon said to her.

"Juvia is sorry. Lyon-sama." Juvia said and Lyon sadly looked at her.

"Do you love to see me become like this? Please dont do this Juvia..."

"Lyon-sama.." Juvia couldnt help but smiled. "How could Juvia says no to you."

Lyon's eyes widened in surprise and so did everyone else.

Everyone seems confused and puzzeled because of Juvia, but she just chuckled at their behaviour.

"Heyy Lyon Vastia! YES YES AND YES! JUVIA WILL MARRY YOU!" Juvia shouted, ran and jumped to Lyon.

Lyon was surprised but immediately catch her, hugged her, swung her around and finally he laughed.

He then put her down on her feet again and hugged her tightly. He bury his face against her shoulder.

"Juvia.. You really surprise me there.. Please dont ever do that again.." He sighed in relief.

"Juvia's sorry. But its Lyon-sama's fault for not hearing Juvia until the end of it." She giggled. "Juvia does love you Lyon-sama."

Juvia didnt know that the word 'no' could made a great issue for Lyon. But she feels thankful because of that, she knows that Lyon is deeply in love with her.

Everybody gave them a big applause...
