Chapter Thirty - Rain (Part 2)

"What? Have you fallen for me that's why you can't speak anything?" Juvia's face started to heat up. "Too bad I've to marry someone like you" 

This man is so ridiculous! Juvia had enough with all his teasing and madness!!!

"What's wrong with you Gray-san? If you want Juvia to be grateful for the drink and for what happened these past few days. Juvia is not! Juvia didn't ask for it, Juvia hates this rain, the cold, stuck with someone like you in here is getting on Juvia's nerve and fallen for you? Have Gray-san gone mad? Did the heavy rain crack Gray-san's skull just now? After one month has end, please convince Juvia's dad and Gray-san's dad that we're nothing but just a ...." Juvia hesitated at the end of her words and not looking at him now.

Just a friend? When did Juvia becomes his friend? Enemy? From the start? Just say anything Juvia!

"Just convince that we're no match at all.." Now Juvia has let everything out! Juvia must be insane! This is the most mean thing that Juvia had said in her entire life! Probably Gray-san's gonna explode at Juvia after this.

"As you wish then" She looked at Gray, he wasn't looking at her anymore.

He didn't fight back. That's really a surprise, usually he would talk back again, but now Gray-san sorts of lost in thought. Maybe he's finally realizing that he was wrong all along.

Juvia is tired.. Its already 10 pm.. This damn rain need to stop, Juvia needs to do her assignment.. Maybe Juvia should take a nap for a while. She then closed her eyes.

Gray's POV

"Fallen for you? Have Gray-san gone mad?" Man her words really makes my heart clench. It much more worse than this cold.

The rain had stopped.

"We should go no--?" Gray looked at Juvia, she was sleeping. "Really Juvia?" Juvia was about to fell down but Gray caught her in time. Gray was about to lecture her but then he saw her eyes were closed. She's sleeping for real..

"She must been so tired these past few days" Slowly Gray adjusted Juvia, resting her head on his shoulder. Gray observed Juvia while removing some strains of hair covering her face. "I didn't know that you could sleep like this" He chuckled to himself. Gray could heard Juvia mumbled then stopped.

"What are you mumbling about now?" Gray whispered softly, not wanting her to wake up. "I'm sorry Juvia.. I.."

"Gray-san?" Gray stopped whispering and looked at her.

"G-Graay..-san aren..t you feel cold.." He heaved out a sigh of relief. Juvia was still sleeping. Gray covered his face with embarrassment however It lit a smile to his face. Idiot I'm fine if its for you. 

That's what she been thinking about me while ago.

"This rain, this cold and me being here.. I'm perfectly fine if you hate it.."

Gray glance at his jacket that Juvia wore. She didn't zip it? Gray then zipped the jacket he gave to Juvia so she won't feel cold.

"Lets go home" Gray moved slowly then carried Juvia in his arms. Thankfully his jacket preventing Juvia from getting wet from his shirt.

10.55 PM

Gray arrived at home, unlocking the front door. The key was given by Rave when Gray had arrived to that house. Now Gray was in-front of Juvia's room.

*clack* *clack* *clack*

Gray then sighed. "Why did you lock the door?" No choice then.. Gray brought Juvia to his room, putting Juvia slowly to the bed. She sleeps soundly. Gray pulled the blanket to below Juvia's neck. He touched Juvia's hair, "Sleep tight."

She's probably going to freak out tomorrow morning.

I need to change my clothes. Damn its cold. As Gray moved away towards his wardrobe. Juvia grabbed his hand which startled him. Gray then kneel down near his bed, tried to remove Juvia's hand from his. "Come on now Juvia" He whispered.

Juvia whimpered and grabbed her hand even tightly. She must having a bad dream. He sighed. "Fine, I won't go for you." 

Gray put his head at the bed while looking at her sleeping face. "I could have awaken you.." But I won't do it.
