Chapter 39 - The Kiss (Part 1)

"Juvia only love Lyon-sama! Juvia doesn't want you to interrupt her love life!!! So please stop saying those 3 words in Juvia's mind!" Juvia yelled which surprised Gray.

"W-what did you just say?" Juvia finally for the first time since hours has passed, look at Gray.

Usually Gray would be a grumpy idiot and started to curse at Juvia whenever Juvia yelled or surprised him. But now the atmosphere was different..

Juvia feels regret now..

Gray sighed and breathed heavily, the aura around him became dark. His voice became stern, at the same time it sounded hurt.

"Who's interrupting your love life?"

Juvia's POV

"Who's interrupting your love life?" Gray-san was staring at Juvia. 

Is he mad? Juvia doesn't know if its a question or not, but oh God please don't made him yell at Juvia!

"I....." Gray-san started to speak again, but this time he's not looking at Juvia. "I'll just leave you alone then.. Just.. Do whatever you want.." He turned around and headed to upstairs.

Now Juvia is all alone. No more Gray-san. No more him to order Juvia around in here. Not more him to annoy Juvia.  She should be happy..

But..

Juvia feels lonely and guilty now.

"What should Juvia do?" Juvia muttered to herself. 

"No worries Juvia! Gray-san will probably back in a minute now. It will not bother him!" Juvia convinced herself and took a deep breath.

5 Minutes Later

Just wait few more minutes.. Juvia's so sure, Gray-san will come back!

10 Minutes Later

Is he not coming? No, its okay Juvia! Just wait for Gray-san! Maybe he's in bathroom?

Half An Hour Later

"No! He's not coming down at all! Gray-san really meant what he said earlier!" Juvia covered her cheeks in horror after convincing herself for half an hour.

Is Gray-san really mad at Juvia? 

Should Juvia go up and pretend like nothing happened? Or Juvia just stay here until tomorrow since dad and uncle Silver will come tomorrow? Or Juvia just need to be patience for Gray-san to come down here? OR! Juvia just don't need to do all the options above?!!!!

Juvia sighed, her mind goes blank for awhile. "Juvia just wish she didn't say that out loud.. Stupid me.."

Upstairs

Juvia peered around the corner of Gray-san's door. Gray-san was laying down on the sofa with his headphone on, eyes closed with both his hands behind his head. Typical of Gray-san, he's not wearing his shirt again.

"Gray-san? Oh well, he didn't heard Juvia.."

Juvia turned around and touched her chest.

"What should Juvia do now?!"

Juvia's heart was beating fast again now. "Okay! Juvia just relax, take a deep breath! Just go apologized now.. He might go crazy at you but at least you says sorry.." Juvia lectured and motivated herself before going inside.
