Anupamaa had just returned to the Shah house, her heart still heavy from the emotional rollercoaster of the past night. Anurag had stood beside her like a rock, but she was unsure of what had just transpired between him and Vanraj. Something felt... different. As she entered, she noticed a palpable shift in the air. Vanraj, who usually wore an expression of arrogance, seemed visibly shaken, his usual bravado nowhere to be seen.

Anupamaa, cautious but curious, turned towards Vanraj.

Anupamaa (tentatively, but firm):
"Toshu ke papa, kya hua tha? Aapne Anurag se kya baat ki?"

To her utter surprise, Vanraj didn't react the way she expected. Gone was the man who had thrown her out of the house, who spoke to her with disdain. Instead, he looked at her with a softness she hadn't seen in years.

Vanraj (gently, almost regretful):
"Anupamaa, main... main maafi chahta hoon. Kal raat jo kuch bhi hua, uske liye main sach mein sharminda hoon."

Anupamaa was stunned. This was not the Vanraj she knew. She remained silent, processing the words that had just come from the man who had caused her so much pain.

Vanraj (gesturing to the sofa, softly):
"Tum baitho. Thoda paani lo, tumhe aaram ki zarurat hai. Bahut thak gayi hogi tum."

Anupamaa, still in shock, slowly sat down. She wasn't sure if this was real or some twisted game he was playing. The change in Vanraj was baffling, and Baa, who had been watching this interaction unfold, was clearly as shocked as Anupamaa.

Baa (yelling, incredulous):
"Arre! Yeh kya ho raha hai? Vanraj! Tum pagal ho gaye ho kya? Yeh bahu ke liye paani le aane ka time hai? Kitna kaam pada hai ghar mein! Ab yeh aaram karegi toh kaam kaun karega?"

Baa, with her typical shrill voice, began listing the chores Anupamaa needed to handle, completely disregarding her emotional state.

Baa (listing chores angrily):
"Kuch logon ka to dhyaan hi nahi hai kaam pe! Kal munden hai, saara tayyari pending hai! Tulsi ka pooja karni hai, mandir ki safai, sabziyaan kaatni hai, aangan mein rangoli banaani hai, kapde dho ke rakhne hai, rasoi ka saara saamaan dekhna hai! Aur yeh paani pi ke aaram karegi?"

Bapuji stood silently in the corner, as if watching a scene from a TV soap opera. His expressions remained neutral, as if he had seen enough of this household's constant dramas. He neither supported nor opposed what was happening, choosing to be a silent spectator.

Samar, though, was confused and suspicious. He couldn't shake the feeling that Anurag had something to do with this sudden transformation in Vanraj's behavior.

Samar (with suspicion, raising an eyebrow):
"Pappa, aap yeh sab kyun kar rahe ho? Anurag bhaiya ne kya kaha aapse jo aap itne badal gaye?"

Vanraj, visibly uncomfortable with the direction of the conversation, quickly tried to divert Samar's attention.

Vanraj (brushing it off, trying to sound casual):
"Kuch nahi, Samar. Bas aise hi... thoda soch badal gaya hai. Tumhe tension lene ki zarurat nahi hai."

Samar, though not fully convinced, didn't push further. He could see something had shifted, but he couldn't quite place what it was. Kavya, on the other hand, had been watching everything from a distance, her anger simmering. This sudden change in Vanraj was not sitting well with her at all.

The Confrontation Between Kavya and Vanraj

Later that day, at the office, Kavya cornered Vanraj, her fury no longer contained.
