Anurag, Samar, and Devika sat in the living room, their faces tense with determination. They had decided that it was time to take the next step. Anupamaa had suffered enough, and now, she had agreed to file for divorce. The weight of this decision was heavy, but it was necessary to free her from the cage of pain she had been trapped in for 25 years.

Anurag, his voice firm but gentle, broke the silence. "We'll file on the basis of everything—extra-marital affair, mental abuse, and domestic violence. There's enough evidence, and we have the recording as proof. This way, Vanraj won't get away easily, and Anupamaa will get justice."

Samar, who had been quiet, nodded in agreement. "Mummy doesn't deserve any more of this. She has given everything to this family, and all she's received in return is betrayal and suffering. We have to fight for her."

Devika, always the voice of reason and strength, added, "I agree. Anupamaa needs a clean break, and Vanraj needs to be held accountable for what he's done. This isn't just about ending a marriage—it's about getting justice for everything she's been through. The world should know the truth."

As they were speaking, Baa stormed in, her face twisted with anger. "Divorce? Izzat uchhalne ki planning ho rahi hai yahaan? Humari izzat ko mitti mein milaoge sabke saamne?" she yelled, her voice echoing through the house. "Shaadi koi khel nahi hai! Yeh ghar kya bolega, yeh duniya kya sochegi? Tum logon ko samaj ka darr nahi hai?" Baa's words were sharp, each one aimed to wound.

She continued, "Anupamaa, yeh sab tumhare liye nahi hai. Tumhaare liye sabse badi izzat yeh hoti hai ki tum ghar ko sambhalo. Yeh divorce-shivorce ka drama band karo. Tumne poori zindagi iss shaadi ke liye diya, ab ant mein yeh sab? Kaise bardaasht karogi tum logon ki baatein? Tumhe kya lagta hai, divorce lene se tumhari zindagi theek ho jayegi?"

Anupamaa stood silently, her eyes full of sadness but no longer influenced by Baa's harsh words. She had made her decision. She turned to Anurag, Samar, and Devika, her voice soft but clear, "Mujhe divorce toh lena hai... lekin kisi bhi reason ke bina. Sirf itna ki main aur Vanraj iss shaadi ko khatam kar rahe hain, bas. Koi ilzaam, koi cause nahi... bas mutual respect ke saath ek dusre se door jaa rahe hain."

Anurag, stunned, stepped forward, his voice full of frustration. "Mummy, aise kaise?Aapko insaaf milna chahiye. Aapne jo sahaa hai, uska hisaab hona chahiye. Aap yeh case sirf ek simple break-up ki tarah nahi dekhna chahiye! Yeh aapka haq hai!"

Devika, shaking her head, added, "Anupamaa, hum sab yahan tumhare liye khade hain. Tumhe apne haq ke liye ladna hoga. Tumne itna sahaa hai, aur tumhe ek saaf-suthri zindagi tabhi milegi jab sach saamne aayega. Yeh mutual respect ka kuch nahi hai, yeh tumhari izzat aur haq ki ladaai hai."

But Anupamaa's voice wavered as she spoke, and her eyes filled with unshed tears. "Main thak gayi hoon... iss ladaai se, iss dard se. Main kab tak ladti rahungi? Main itni toot gayi hoon ki ab aur ladne ki taaqat nahi hai. Main bas shaanti chahti hoon, bas sukoon. Mujhe ab ilzaam nahi lagane... bas khatam karna hai. Aur agar yeh ho sake... to izzat ke saath khatam ho yeh rishta."

Her voice broke as she looked at each of them with tired eyes. "Mujhe akela chhod do... bas kuch waqt ke liye."

Without waiting for a response, Anupamaa quietly walked away. Her steps were heavy as she moved towards Samar's room. Once inside, she turned the lock with a soft click, shutting herself away from the world. She needed time—time to grieve, to process, and to find a way to rebuild what was left of her shattered heart.
