Previously: For the first time in years, Anupamaa felt not like a woman who had endured endless battles, but like a queen—adored, respected, cherished. And around her, her children stood like warriors of her happiness, vowing silently that never again would she stand alone.

--------------------------------------------------

The hall was still echoing with laughter when Anuj turned to Anupamaa, his voice low but filled with hope.

Anuj (gently, almost hesitantly): "Anu... From now the whole family will live together... Sab saath rahenge.. like one complete family... I hope you are okay with that.. right..."

Anupamaa looked at him in surprise, her heart skipping a beat.
Anupamaa (softly): "Anuj... matlab... mere bacche bhi yahin rahenge?"

Anuj took her hands in his, his eyes unwavering.
Anuj (firmly, yet tenderly): "Nah... tumhare nahi... humare... 4 bachche hai humare... If you don't mind can I also share the responsibility as a father with you... for Toshu, Pakhi and Samar... Like you share the responsibility of a mother for Anurag... I would be really happy..."

The words pierced her heart with an overwhelming sweetness. Without thinking of the dozens of eyes watching them, Anupamaa flung her arms around him, burying her tears into his shoulder.
Anupamaa (choked, whispering against him): "Anujjj... Mei aapko bata nahi sakthi... ki mei kitna khush hoon... aur aap mere bachcho ko itni aasani se apnalenge... yeh bhi nahi socha tha Anuj... Thank you...."

Her tears of gratitude stained his kurta, but Anuj only held her tighter, silently promising he would never let go.

In that moment, Pakhi, Samar, and Toshu moved forward, unable to hold themselves back any longer. They wrapped their arms around both Anupamaa and Anuj, sealing the embrace like children clinging to their parents.

Pakhi, her voice quivering yet determined, looked up at him.
Pakhi: "Buddy, I promise.. I will not repeat the mistakes I have done before... I will give you the right to scold me if I am wrong.... I know I will be wrong... I am not after all the perfect son like Anurag bhaiyya is.. but I will try my best..."

Anuj chuckled softly, kissing the top of her head as he cradled her in his arms. For a moment, she looked every bit the ten-year-old girl she was—fragile, innocent, craving love.
Anuj: "Awee Pakhu... such a cutie... you are like your mum sometimes... you are emotional... and smart.. and wanting to learn... that's all it takes to be perfect kiddo... you don't have to be like anyone else offcourse.."

Pakhi sniffled, clutching him tighter, as if afraid he might vanish.

Then Toshu, usually guarded and prideful, stepped forward with unusual humility.
Toshu (serious, almost guilty): "Buddy... I know I have hurt you before... I will promise not to be disrespectful to you.. I really mean it... "

Anuj placed a firm hand on his shoulder, his tone affectionate but layered with wisdom.
Anuj: "Awee Toshu... I feel you jump into conclusions really fast, and then you don't like to change your opinion do you... you act on impulse rather than like about the situation... That's it... It is as simple Bachcha..."

Toshu's throat tightened; for the first time, he felt corrected, not criticized—guided, not judged.

Samar, standing at the edge, crossed his arms dramatically.
Samar (mock-pouting): "Wahh buddy! Saara pyaar in dono pe hi barsa diya... toh mere liye kya bacha?"
