Anuj and Anupamaa's playful banter continued as they approached the massive mall. The cab ride was filled with laughter, and Anuj couldn't resist teasing her about shopping.
As they stepped out of the cab and took in the grand entrance of the mall, Anuj turned to Anupamaa with a determined look. "Anu," he said, his tone playful but serious, "ek kaam karo, jo bhi chaiye woh bina soche samajhe le lena. No overthinking, samjhi? Just buy what makes you happy. Main hoon na, sab sambhal loonga."
Anupamaa crossed her arms and frowned at him. "Arrey, ese nahi hota, Anuj! Paise kharch karne se pehle sau baar sochna padta hai. Zimmedaari hoti hai!"
Anuj rolled his eyes dramatically. "Zimmedaari ki devi, tum paise ki tension mat lo! Udaav bindass, main hoon na tere saath," he insisted, putting on a mock hero pose.
Anupamaa couldn't help but smile but still protested. "Nahi, nahi, Anuj! Main apne khud ke paise se shopping karungi. Maine badi mehnat se save kiya hai," she argued.
Anuj sighed, shaking his head with mock disappointment. "Arrey, Mohatarma! Itna bhi paraya kar diya mujhe? Main tumhare liye kuch bhi na karun? Yeh zulm kyun kar rahi ho mujhpe?"
Anupamaa laughed softly. "Zulm nahi, Anuj... bas... woh..."
He interrupted, wagging a playful finger at her. "Nahi, nahi! Tumhare arguments nahi sunne wala hoon main. This time, mere hisaab se chalegi. Main hi paise dene wala hoon, samjhi?" His eyes sparkled with mischief. "Aur haan, warn kar raha hoon! Shopping se wapas aate-aate meri jeb khaali honi chahiye. Khaali! No excuses."
Anupamaa couldn't suppress her laughter, shaking her head at his antics. "Aap bhi na! Paise hai toh ese udaate hai kya? Kuch bhi bolte ho aap."
Anuj folded his arms, pretending to be firm. "Theek hai, lekin jo pasand aaye aur zaroori ho, woh lena hi lena. Aur uska paisa main dunga. Done deal! Lekin, chalo, balance ke liye, tumhare paison se bhi kuch chhota sa le lo, taaki tumhe bura na lage," he offered, a twinkle in his eye. "Waise bhi, ek pal mein 'tera mera' kar diya! Bolo, kya kehna hai?"
Anupamaa's smile softened. She couldn't argue with his generosity and love. "Theek hai," she finally said, her voice gentle. But deep down, she felt warmth spreading in her heart, grateful for how Anuj always made sure to care for her without making her feel obligated.
With a renewed sense of excitement, they walked into the mall, ready to make memories and enjoy their time together.
As they wandered deeper into the bustling mall, Anupamaa's eyes lit up when she spotted an elegant saree shop on one side. Just as she was about to head toward it, Anuj gently pulled her back, guiding her in the direction of a luxurious jewelry store glittering with diamond necklaces.
"Anu, pehle yahan chalo," Anuj urged, a mischievous sparkle in his eyes. He gestured toward the dazzling display of diamond pieces. "Yeh dekh, kuch pasand karlo."
Anupamaa's eyes widened in shock, and she shook her head emphatically. "Pagal hai kya aap! HEERA hai woh! Nahin, nahin, bilkul nahin," she protested, clutching her purse as if trying to ward off the extravagant suggestion.
Anuj chuckled, undeterred by her refusal. "Le lo na, Anu. Kya jaata hai?"
Anupamaa placed her hands on her hips and shot back playfully, "Aapko chahiye? Lijiye, le lo. Pehen lo, main nahi rokungi!" She folded her arms and grinned, enjoying the banter.
Anuj laughed at her response, eyes sparkling with amusement. "Arrey, mujhe kya karna hai gehnon ka, Anu? Main kya karunga diamonds pehen ke, mall mein ghoomta hua? Tumhare liye keh raha hoon, yaar," he insisted, sincerity peeking through his teasing.
