Precap: With thoughts of her filling his mind, he closed his eyes, a sense of peace washing over him. And soon, he drifted off into a deep sleep, dreaming of Anupamaa—dressed in a beautiful shaadi ka joda, walking towards him, her eyes filled with love, before she embraced him wholeheartedly. A soft smile remained on his lips as he slept, lost in dreams of the woman who had become his entire world.

Anuj stretched his arms over his head, the early morning sun kissing his face as he stood on the balcony of their Goa beachside resort. The soft breeze carried the scent of the ocean, and the rhythmic crashing of the waves filled the air. But nothing—nothing—was as captivating as the sight before him.

Anupamaa.

She sat there, wrapped in a soft white cotton saree, the delicate fabric draping over her curves effortlessly. The golden light of the sun illuminated her face, making her skin glow. Her long hair, still slightly damp from her shower, cascaded over one shoulder as she sipped her tea, lost in thought.

God, she was beautiful.

His heart clenched with love, and a mischievous grin spread across his lips as he turned to her.

"Anupamaa, chalo na... chalthe hai... let's gooo!" he urged, practically bouncing in his spot like a child. "Aaj toh jaayenge hi! Let's go to the beach! Hum Goa aaye hai... even though it's a business trip, but still, let's go naa... Kal poora kaam hi kiya hai..."

Anupamaa, unbothered, continued sipping her tea, not even glancing at him.

"No, Anuj." Her voice was soft yet firm, her authority inescapable. "You have your doctor's appointment. Now that we're on this trip, I've booked an online consultation. You have to attend that. And you're not going anywhere until it's done."

Anuj groaned, dramatically slumping into the cushioned chair next to her, his hand clutching his heart like she had personally wounded him.

"Anu, please yaar..." he pleaded, his voice dripping with that boyish charm that usually melted her resolve. "Hum 26 saal se shaadi-shuda hai... aur socho, first time hum Goa aaye hai saath mein! First time! Beach jaane ka koi chance nahi chhod sakte!"

Anupamaa finally glanced at him, her lips curving into a knowing smile. "Anuj, what's up with you? Maine mana thodi kiya beach jaane se? I love beach as much as you do... but first, you have to be there for the doctor's appointment. After that, we'll go. Aur waise bhi, Anurag ka project bhi hai jo aaj complete karna hai... Kal tak project ko complete karke bhejna padega, and then his ninth standard syllabus will be out. Usko bhi dekhna hoga. Distance schooling is not easy, Anuj. We've already decided to take this responsibility ourselves. I need to help him with it."

Anuj waved a hand dismissively. "Arey, Anu, he'll manage! Kitna smart hai!" He puffed out his chest. "He has my genes in him!"

Anupamaa narrowed her eyes. "Smart hai, lekin aalsi bhi hai! Maine janam diya hai usse, mujhe sab pata hai! Goa aake, aap expect kar rahe hai ki woh sincerely project complete kar raha hoga?"

Anuj laughed, knowing she was absolutely right. "Accha baba..." he sighed dramatically. "Toh bas... doctor ka appointment attend karta hoon... fir ready hota hoon, fir beach chalenge!"

Anupamaa nodded, satisfied. But before she could say anything, he suddenly leaned closer, trapping her against the armrest of her chair.

Her breath hitched.
