Precap: "Anuj," she whispered, her fingers tracing the tear marks on his cheeks, "I can't... I can't lose you. Not even for a moment. You mean too much to me, more than I ever allowed myself to realize." Her gaze searched his, and she took a shaky breath, her heart pouring out every word. "I've fallen in love with you, Anuj. Deeply, completely, and I won't ever let you go. You hear me? Never." Her English was so fluent when she told this before she realized she could speak so fluently.

As Anupamaa's heartfelt confession echoed through the bustling mall, a wave of emotions crashed over Anuj. His tears streamed freely, glistening like droplets of uncontained joy, and he clung to her, trembling from the intensity of the moment. They slowly loosened their embrace, but the emotional impact lingered, wrapping them both in a shared warmth that defied words.

Anuj stood frozen for a moment, his mind reeling as her words, played on an endless loop in his heart. It was as though every dream, every silent wish he had nurtured over the past twenty-six years had suddenly come true. Then, like a child overcome with delight, Anuj's emotions erupted in a burst of exuberance. He began jumping up and down, crying out joyfully, his laughter echoing through the mall. He whooped and spun around, completely unaware of the sea of curious faces surrounding them. His happiness overflowed, unable to be contained, and he danced with abandon, hands thrown into the air as if he were celebrating life itself.

Anupamaa watched with awe, her cheeks flushed and her heart racing. She had never seen him this carefree, this wildly expressive. But she didn't stop him. Instead, she placed a hand on her bindi, her shyness making her eyes sparkle, and she bit her lower lip to suppress the smile that threatened to spill over.

Anuj eventually noticed the crowd gathering around them, snapping pictures and recording videos of his ecstatic outburst. He paused abruptly, realizing he was still in the middle of a public place. Embarrassment flashed across his face, and he pouted comically, adjusting his shirt and trying to regain some semblance of composure. He clumsily wiped his tears with the back of his hands and pushed his spectacles up with his right index finger, trying to appear dignified. But the sparkle in his eyes betrayed him—joy still danced there, untamed and unapologetic.

Anupamaa's voice quivered as she scolded Anuj, the remnants of her earlier panic still fresh. "Kahaan chale gaye the aap? Aapko pata bhi hai, kitna tension ho gaya tha mujhe!" Her eyes shimmered with unshed tears, her relief just beginning to settle in.

Anuj, taken aback, responded gently, "Ohh... Mohatarma, aap aage aage chal gayi thi. Mujhe ek call aaya tha..." He tried to explain, his voice filled with concern, but he couldn't help noticing the emotion in her eyes.

"Pata bhi hai aapko," she continued, her voice cracking, "mera rona nikal gaya tha... kitna darr lag gaya tha mujhe..." Her vulnerability was laid bare, and Anuj's heart twisted at the thought of her distress.

Anuj stepped closer, his eyes wide with guilt and love. "Tum ro rahi thi kya, Anu? Oh Anu..." He reached out, his fingers gently brushing her cheek. "Mera jaan nikal gayi thi jab tum nahi mil rahi thi. I'm so sorry. I promise," he said, his voice trembling with sincerity, "from now, mei kabhi bhi chhod ke nahi jaaunga. I love you, Anu."

Her heart melted at his words, and the fear she had felt a moment ago was replaced with a warmth that spread through her chest. Her lips curved into a shy, relieved smile. "Mei bhi..." she whispered, her voice soft but resolute, as she looked into his eyes, her love reflected in them.

They stood in that moment, both still catching their breath from the emotional rollercoaster. Then, realizing they had a crowd still watching, they shared a small laugh, their worries fading into joy. Hand in hand, they walked back to retrieve their scattered shopping bags, their steps lighter now.
