Cold Winter (Cole x Kai)

Je t'aime

The ninjas were busy with their duty of protecting their people for a long period of time. Months have passed without any big problems occurring and spring has finally come. The days began to stretch and the snow started to melt. The city awoke from its winter sleep and the streets became more lively again.

„You have no chance against me!" Jay declared and went for a hit „I'm gonna overpower you with ease!" Cole yelled back and dodged the attacks. They shouted and yelled in chaos while the others cheered for them. Cole went for the final hit only for the screen to turn black.

They all gasped and groaned at once when the game crashed and the tv turned off. „I might be mistaken but I am sure I've sent you to train and not to laze around." A disappointed Sensei appeared next to the tv with the unplugged cable. „Come on sensei, we've been working non stop. My feet are all sore from all the orders and tasks." Jay whined and threw himself back to lay on the ground. „It really has been difficult on us. Have mercy Sensei." Cole begged.

Wu stood there for a while thinking about the situation. „Alright, you're certainly right. A break would do no harm. You have two days for yourselves. Enjoy." With that their Sensei walked out the room rather fast.

Everyone watched him leave the room in silence until cheering broke out. „Let's gooooo!" „I can finally go shopping!!" „I can go get the new edition of the best comic ever and nobody can stop meee!" „Sleeping here I come!" „My suit needs some adjustments, will you help me?" „Anything for my babe."

Kai but disapprovingly looked at the others. „When I needed a break sensei made me train through the cold night as a punishment. But once one of you complain he gets all soft. That's so unfair." „Yeah, he like totally kicked me out of our home. Can you believe that?" Lloyd added while shaking his head in disappointment.

„Well that's because I'm his favorite which is why he never scolds me." Jay proudly announced with his hands on his hips. Cole let out a laugh at that. „I'm pretty sure if sensei had to do a ‚my favorite student list', you'd be the last. And I would certainly be on top." Cole corrected while mocking Jay. „You're so delusional. Sensei Wu likes me most because why wouldn't he." Kai objected with honor.

Nya shook her head at this childish behaviour. „You really think he likes someone of you? Haven't you seen how he literally ran out of the room when he had the chance? He totally has enough of everyone..except of me of course because I'm his favorite student."

„Guys' I am the most advanced and helpful one of the group...I believe if Sensei had to chose between us I'd be his first choice since I'm dearest to him." Zane complained. „...I'm like his nephew." With that everyone went silent for a moment.

„Yeah I don't really care who he likes most but pretty sure it's not Lloyd." „I agree." „Couldn't say it any better"

It seemed like everyone had an idea what they were going to do for the next two days. Within minutes the living room was empty with everyone leaving to do their thing. Nya and Jay were in the crafting room working on the robot suit but truly they were mostly flirting and making out.

Lloyd and Zane left to shop and buy the things they wanted. They also promised to get the stuff the others asked for. Cole was in the kitchen eating dipped cookies and milk so that he can sleep peacefully. When he finished eating he cleaned after himself and walked over to the training hall. There he walked over to the sweaty red ninja who was kicking a punching bag and without hesitation he picked him up and carried him out of the room over to his own bedroom. Kai tried to reason with him but Cole remained quiet.

„Cole! I was in the middle of something if you haven't noticed?! Let me go!" Kai demanded and punched the earth ninja but he didn't even flinch. Now arriving at the bed Cole laid down with Kai still in his arms. „Are you seriously going to use me as an comfort plushy?" Kai asked in annoyance but didn't get a reply back. „Hey! Don't close your eyes. No way, you're really drifting away..." In shock Kai watched his lover boy go into the world of dreams as he firmly held onto him. He really was stuck and there was nothing he could do.
