„So are you?" Lloyd asked with a judgemental face. Cole looked over to Kai seeing him already glaring back at him. „I don't think so?" Cole stated with a question mark. „I don't know what you're talking about Lloyd and I don't want to know. Just because you're going through puberty doesn't mean you can go around with your heart glasses and play make believe." Kai angrily spat and walked away.

„What do you mean puberty! I'm like an adult now!" Lloyd yelled back at him. „Having a body of a twenty year old and actually being twenty are two different things!" Kai competitively shouted without giving a second glance. He was going to head towards the dining room to finally eat something but Lloyds appearance ruined his mood so he chose otherwise.

At the table everyone was chatty and happily enjoying the meal. „And then it exploded right into Nyas face!" Jay laughed at what had happened today making everyone else also crack up. „By the way where's Kai?" Nya asked during the laughter. She looked over to Cole who she saw last with her brother.

Cole didn't give attention to the stare and continued eating. There was a long pause of awkwardness until Cole sighed and answered. „He wasn't hungry." He coldly replied and continued eating. „Lloyd isn't here either..he was gonna get you and Kai to eat." Zane pointed out and looked at Cole for a second answer. „I don't know! He wasn't hungry either I guess!" Cole this time angrily shouted making everyone stare in shock at him.

„Sorry, I'm going to bed." With that Cole pushed his chair back and left the room. „But you were sleeping the whole day-" Jay shouted after him but got quieter when Cole walked off without acknowledging him.

The others were left puzzled and confused. „Something must have happened between these three..." Nya stated to which the white and blue ninja agreed. „Let's leave them be for now." Zane suggested and went back to eating followed by the other two.

Outside was Kai silently sitting on the roof of the building. He was motionlessly staring at the starlit sky as he breathed the cold air. He had to cool down from the encounter and he didn't want to deal with anyone right now. His star gazing was interrupted by the sound of someone approaching him.

Kai tried to ignore it and kept looking at the stars but the person didn't take the sign and clumsily sat next to him. Lloyd now was also watching the sky without interfering with Kais relaxation time. His green eyes shimmered as he looked into the bright galaxy that stretched above them. They sat in silence for minutes and after some time Lloyd even sneakily scooped closer to Kai.

He put his head on Kais shoulder without saying a word and continued to look forward. Kai glanced over at him and couldn't help but smile. He could never be angry at him for long, especially when he acts spoiled like that.

„Are you angry?" „No, but you seriously have to learn not to stick your nose in everything." „I don't do that! I mostly mind my own business but it was unavoidable this time..." Kai glanced at Lloyd who was staring at him with a serious expression.

„I don't want to make my own conclusions and I'm ready to hear the truth from you. Kai are you perhaps dating Cole?" Kai looked at Lloyd with his heart racing and then looked the other way hiding his face. He didn't want to tell Lloyd but at the same time he didn't have the heart to lie to him again.

Lloyd confused called out to him and tried to make eye contact again. At some point he managed to get a glimpse of Kais face and that was a good enough answer for him.

„I'd rather eat you." Kais hair stood up and his already red face started to burn brighter. He turned to Lloyd in a fast manner and looked at him in shock. „Aww are you embarrassed~ I knew all along you know." Lloyd teased with a grin making Kai frown. „Shut up!" He yelled with his hands covering Lloyds face in attempt to make him stop talking.
