I glanced at Ethan and smiled as I saw that he was sound asleep. He was lucky, I wish I could sleep, but the noise from the plane and other passangers was keeping me awake. I smiled as I glanced down at my wedding ring, it felt so strange to finally be married. I'd have to get used to being Mrs Hardy. The wedding had been magical, intimate just as Ethan and I had wanted. It was a magical moment. I couldn't help but feel nervous at the thought of telling everyone, especially Caleb. He would be hurt, not only because he hadn't been invited but also because he loved me. It was a horrible situation to be in, I hated the thought of hurting him, but I had to do what was right for me. I sighed and gazed out the window.
Eventually we landed at the airport and Ethan finally woke up. I couldn't help but smile as we finally arrived back home.
"Do I have to carry you across the threshold?" Ethan teased.
"Don't even think about it." I warned him.
"Why not?" he chuckled.
"You know I don't like all that traditional stuff." I told him as I unlocked the front door.
I glared at him as he picked up my bags as well as his own and carried them inside.
"I can take some of them." I offered.
"No I'll carry them." he answered.
"I'm quite capable of carrying my own stuff." I muttered.
"But you're pregnant." he pointed out.
"You know as well as I do that lifting doesn't cause problems." I stated."I know but I just want to take care of you." he sighed.
"I'm not great at that, I like doing things for myself." I admitted.
"Yeah I noticed." he smiled slightly.
I smiled at him and wandered upstairs to unpack.

The following morning came around far too quickly for my liking. As much as I loved my job it felt like a bump back to reality after what had been a relaxing two weeks.
"Feels weird to be back here." Ethan stated as he changed into his scrubs in the staff room.
"The holiday went far too quickly." I agreed.
"Yeah it did, I wish we could have stayed longer." he sighed.
"I wish we could have stayed forever." I smiled.
"You liked it that much?" he frowned.
"Yeah, it's a beautiful place." I said.
He looked at me for a long time.
"We could look into moving there if that's what you want?" he offered.
"It's a big step." I sighed.
"It'll be an adventure though." he grinned.
"What about jobs and...Cal?" I asked.
"I'm sure he won't care." he shrugged.
"He probably will." I sighed.
We quickly stopped talking as Robyn walked into the staff room.
"Hey guys." she smiled.
I smiled back nervously.
"How was your holiday?" she asked.
"It was great thanks." I said quietly.
"It was a bit more than a holiday." Ethan muttered as he closed his locker.
I glared at him and glanced nervously at Robyn.
"I don't understand." she frowned as she glanced between the two of us.
"We got married." he said proudly.
"Ethan!" I exclaimed.
"What?" he frowned.
I watched Robyn as she glanced at Ethan's hand, clearly looking at his wedding ring.
"So you thought you'd get married over there so you didn't have to invite anyone?" she asked sarcastically.
"I'm sorry Robyn, we just wanted a private ceremony." I whispered.
"I've been there for you when you needed me and you said I could be bridesmaid." she said angrily.
I opened my mouth to answer but closed it quickly as I glanced at the doorway and saw Caleb standing there.
"Cal." I whispered.
He stared at me silently and quickly walked away. I was sure I'd seen tears forming in his eyes.
AN: Hey guys me again lol. Thanks for checking out the sequel, this story will be shorter than the last and due to popular demand I'm going to include more Emma and Cal moments ;) x
