Eventually I pulled away from Caleb and watched him closely.
"I shouldn't have done that." I whispered as a wave of shame washed over me.
I couldn't believe that I'd given in to the temptation. I'd betrayed Ethan without even thinking about it. I was a terrible person.
"It's okay, no one needs to know." Caleb told me.
"That's not the point." I sighed.
I quickly stood up and walked upstairs.
"Where are you going?!" he called after me.
"For a nap." I called back.
I needed to get away from temptation, I couldn't start to feel like this about Caleb. I was a married woman, I was going to be a mother. It was important that I did the right thing.
I curled up in my bed and pulled the blankets over my head. Shutting out the world was the only thing I wanted to do.
I gasped as I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my abdomen.
"Caleb!" I called worridly.
"Caleb!" I called again when he didn't answer.
"What?" he called upstairs.
"We need to do something, my waters have just broken!" I shouted.
