I jumped slightly as a fox came trotting around the corner. I giggled as I saw Caleb breath a sigh of relief.

"You're a muppet." I teased as I elbowed him in the ribs.

"You were nervous too." he pointed out.

"Not as much as you." I chuckled.

"Let's head home." I added.

"Don't you want to check the rest of her route?" he suggested.

"No, I want to go home...I need to check something." I said as I walked away.

☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

I could feel Caleb's eyes on me as I drove home at high speed.

"What's the emergency?" he asked sarcastically.

"I need to check something." I told him.

"You keep saying that...check what?" he sighed.

"I'll show you." I told him as I pulled up at the house and quickly turned off the engine.

He walked quickly behind me as I practically ran to my bedroom. I switched on my phone and showed him the picture I took of the writing we found.

"And?" he questioned.

"The shade of it, matches this." I told him as I pulled my lipstick out of my bag.

He took the lipstick and looked at it closely.

"It does look pretty similar." he said quietly.

"I gave her a tube of my lipstick, the day before she was killed, what if it's a message." I said thoughtfully.

"What kind of message?" he frowned.

"What if she's trying to tell us who killed her, but she got interrupted." I muttered.

"ANDR could be Andrew." I added.

"You don't know that, it could mean anything." he protested.

"But he seemed really creepy, and he has a motive." I pointed out.

"Yeah but so do a lot of people." he argued.

I glared at him. Why was he so convinced that Stuart had something to do with it? It had to be Andrew. It wasn't just a coincidence that the writing matched the lipstick shade. She had to be trying to tell us something.

"I need to tell the police." I stated.

"I don't think you have enough evidence." he answered.

"You've been nothing but difficult today..what's your problem?!" I exclaimed.

"Nothing!" he protested.

"Don't you want Ethan to walk free..because you want me to yourself?!" I accused him.

"Of course not, I just think you need more evidence." he said.

"Well then I'll get some." I stated definitely as I grabbed the paperwork and stormed upstairs.
