I awoke the following morning as the sun streamed in the window. I frowned as I realised that I was still in Caleb's arms on the sofa. I must have been so emotionally exhausted that I fell asleep.

I sat up slowly and pushed my hair out of my eyes.

"Morning." Caleb said groggily.

"Hey." I said back.

"I'm sorry that I fell asleep on you." I added.

"Don't worry about it, I've had worse." he grinned.

I smiled falsely.

"Are you feeling better, you were really upset last night?" he asked.

"I just really miss him." I said quietly as I wrapped my arms around my knees.

"Yeah I know you do." he said gently.

"I need him back Cal." I whispered as I looked up at him.

"You know that I'm here for you." he stated.

"Yeah, I'm glad that you are, I really appreciate it." I smiled.

"I missed having you around." I added.

"I couldn't stand seeing you with him." he said quietly.

"Why?" I frowned.

"You know why." he sighed.

"I hated that you'd married him and I've lost you forever." he added.

"Stop it Cal." I said quietly.

"I'm not doing anything." he pointed out.

"I need you right now." I sighed.

"I've always needed you." he said gently.

I watched him closely as he slowly moved closer to me. I jumped slightly as his lips gently brushed against mine. I kissed him back for a moment, before I slowly pulled away.

"We can't." I whispered.

"Yes we can." he whispered back.

I looked into his eyes and finally gave into the temptation. I smiled up at him as I kissed him.
