When i got back Melody was sitting at my desk, looking at that matchbox she gave me. I walked behind her and put my arms on her shoulders. She leaned back and put her hand on mine.

- You know before i died, i never though this all is gonna happen to me.

- I think this is something not many people would expect.

- I know. But like..

- What's up?

- Its just still feels unreal. When i gave you this i really thought its over, and now im here with you. Sometimes im afraid, what if this will end suddenly. Because i feel like i don't deserve this..or you.. - she said it but the end was so quiet and weak. - Im just scared..

- Im not going anywhere.. - i whispered to her ear. - And you came back to life i think that's an universal sign. I doubt people came back very often. - i said and hugged her tighter.
- You deserve good things. Not sure if im ome though.

- You are that why i don't deserve you, not after what i did..

- You helped at the end, without that match we all would have been dead. Garraka was evil and used your family to get you into his plan. You're not a bad person Mel..you were just lost.. and he used that. But now things have changed he's in the chamber and you're here. Things turned out for the better, and that's all that matters.

- Maybe you're right..

- Im always right - i said and i could feel her eye rolls. She suddenly turned around with the chair and pulled me into her lap. I felt my confident running away as she grabbed me by the waist.

- What? Did the cat got your tongue?

- I uhm.. - i stuttered and she just smiled.

- Thank you.. - i looked at her and seen the tears in her eyes. I felt like my heart just shattered. Seeing her like this is different. She's always trying to show up confident, but this time she seemed so vulnerable. I put one hand on her face and made her look into my eyes.

- You remember what you said to me?
I don't have to always show up strong - i said and leaned closer to her ear - You don't have to do that either, im here you can let go... - i whispered and, then she leaned on my shoulder and started crying. I hugged her tight and started rubbing her back. After a couple of minutes she started to calm down. After a few minutes she pulled away a little but she tried to hide her face. I gently held her face and turned towards me. - Don't hide..

- Sorry.. - i gave her a kiss on the cheek and just rubbed her cheek with my thumb.

- Its okay. Do you need anything?

- You..Phoebe.. i just..need you..

- Im here..and that's never going to change. - i said and hugged her.

- Thank you.. - she said and hughed me back tightly. I started rubbing her back till she pulled away. - Don't get me wrong i like this situation with you in my lap, but i can't feel my legs.

- Ah sorry - i said and stood up.

- Its okay i pulled you in my lap and it was totally worth it.

- Good, now why don't you lay down with me? That will be way more comfortable.

- Don't have to ask me twice - said then stood up, but looked like her legs gave out so she fell towards me. But i managed to step towards my bed so the fall was way softer. - Well this was a fast way for sure - she said, and after a bit of silence we just started laughing. - You okay tho?

- Yes don't worry, actually i can't be better since you're laying on me.

- You're such a flirt

- Maybe - i said and looked her, she moved upwards so our heads were in the same line. She kissed me gently and i instantly kissed her back. I placed one hand on the back of her head to pull her closer. I felt her smiling in the kiss, but suddenly the alarm went off. We pulled away and i looked at Melody.

- Go catch them babe - she said and i just smiled. - But be careful i need you in one piece.

- Got it - i said and i climbed out of the bed. - Sorry i didn't planned this night like this.

- It's okay - she smiled. - Now go

- I love you - i said and i gave her a quick kiss.

- I love you too - she said and i just ran downstairs to get my gear and then i jumped in the car.

- You sure you wanna come with us? You can stay with Melody - Gary said.

- She is okay with it.

- Alright then lets get them - he said and we drive out of the firehouse.
