Chapter 19

I nodded and let her climb out of bed. She walked to her closet, i sat up and looked at her carefully. She pulled of her current t-shirt and just threw it away. She was left in only a short she reached in to her closet to pull out another shirt. I stood up from the bed and slowly walked behind her. Before she could put on the shirt i hugghed her from behind.

- Hey.. - she said and placed one hand on mine.

- You're so warm.. - i said and started placing small kissed on her back.

- Are you cold?

- A little bit..

- Maybe next time don't walk in the pouring rain - she said. - Will you let me put on my shirt?

- No.. - i said. - I mean you can be without it.. - she slowly turned around.

- Missed me that much?

- Maybe.. - i mumbled and i looked away.  I felt her hand under my chin and she turned me back to face her. I placed my hands on her waist and pulled her closer. She looked into my eyes then down on my lips. I leaned closer but when she was about to kiss me i pulled away. She grabbed the neck of my shirt and gently pulled me back.

- This is an evil game Spengler - she said and stepped away to pull her t-shirt on.

- But its working isn't it? - i said then walked closer to her.

- Maybe, but careful cause you're not the only one who can tease - she stepped infront of me, then pulled me closer by grabbing the waistband of my pants. I swallowed hard, and i felt my face turning red. She laughed then gave a quick kiss on my cheek.

- Not fair.

- Im just better in this - she said.

- Oh shut up - i said and playfully pushed her and giggled.

- Let's just get back to bed - she said and i just nodded. I walked back to her bad and layed down. She layed down as well, i turned towards her, and burried my face into her chest. She started petting my head which made me slowly fall asleep..

After a few hours Melody woke me up and we walked back to the firehouse. Luckily no one was awake, so i was able to sneak back easily. After that, the day went normaly we had a few alarms, but nothing special. I also told them about my dream and that person i met last night. We agreed that i have to tell this to  Winston and Ray, they might be able to help with the paper that person gave me. Cause there was just numbers on it and some letters. So i went to Ray's place right away.

- Hey - i greeted him when i stepped into the shop.

- Hey kiddo what's up?

- I have to tell you something.

- Im all ears.

- So last night i had another nightmare, but it felt different. It felt more like a vision.

- About what?

- I haven't figured that out yet. It wasn't Garraka this time, but felt somehow similar.

- Could this be connected to Ammon then?

- Maybe and also after that happened i went out for a walk, and a weird person showed up in some kind of robe.

- Did he said something?

- Yeah, he talked about Ammon. About that, we can't let him escape cause we won't be able to stop him. And then he gave me this - i showed him the paper.

- What's this?

- I don't know. Some letters and numbers  - he put on his glasses and looked at it.

- This seems familiar, but i have to ask a friend of mine.

- Okay. What's with the other books?

- Well, the one that was burried git stolen. Winston got a call from his friend that the grave was digged up.

- Shouldn't we get the other books?

- Already done, the last two should arrive today.

- Cool. Also have you seen Lars in the lab recently?

- Yeah, he is in today. Why?

- I have to talk with him about something.

- Okay.

- Thanks Ray.

- No problem kiddo.

- I better get going now. See you later.

- Bye - he said and i walked out of the shop. I went straight to the lab to find Lars and to talk with Winston. First i went straight to Winstons office to tell him about the dreams and that person.  After i finished i walked out and looked for Lars.

- Hey Lars - i said as i walked up to him. He jumped a little then fixed his glasses and looked at me.

- Hey.

- Do you have a minute? I wanna ask you something.

- Uh yeah, sure - he turned around with the chair.

- So how are you after thst incident?

- Im okay.

- You haven't experienced weird things? - he looked up at me suprised.

- How do you know?

- So you did?

- Yes, i get these weird dreams, or like visions.

- About a dark figure?

- Yeah, but how you know?

- Cause i have the same visions. We both were near the book before it was put under the shield.

- Yeah.

- Does anyone else knows?

- Not yet. I wasn't sure telling anyone cause what if they think im crazy or think he controls me.

- I already talked about this with Ray and Winston.

- What did they say?

- To tell him as soon as something esle comes up. He can't control us, but we have to be careful.

- I think i also should talk to him

- Yeah it the best.

- Okay.

- How is the machine going by the way?

- Its going very well. But its hard to try it out without a human subject.

- Yeah nkt many humans are getting posessed these days.

- Yeah, but every test shows it possible now. Your calculations were on point.

- Good it would have been embarrasing otherwise. Anyway im gonna go.

- Okay - he turned back to the computer and i just walked out of the lab. When i got out my phone started ringing. I picked it up.

- Hello?

- Hey Kiddo its Ray. I think i know what are those numbers and letters are meant for. Meet me at the Library and i explain everything.

- Okay i'll be there soon.

- Okay - he said then he ended the call. I messaged mom that i'll be home later and then i started my way to the library.
