Fitz's POV

I woke up with a pounding headache, and I felt something cool against my bare arm. I rubbed my eyes, only to find myself in a very dark place. As my eyesight cleared, I saw that I was in a jail cell. And then everything came back to me.

I was in the woods, and I stopped to look at something, and then I ended up here. I looked around the cell, not noticing the person who sat across from me in the other corner. My heart raced as I saw blonde hair.

Could it be? Please, please, please let it be her.

My patience got the best of me, and I gently shook the girls shoulder, and I took my hand back when she started to stir. She raised her head, and my heart raced even faster now. She turned to look at me, and my eyes widened, and a smile grew on my face.

I found her. The love of my life. She rubbed her eyes, and once she put her hands down, her jaw dropped. I wrapped my arms around her and brought her in the biggest hug. And it took her a few seconds for her to actually hug me back.

I missed her so much. The amount that I've craved to kiss her, hug her, talk to her, hear her, was unbearable. We broke apart after, and she placed her hands on my arm, chest, neck, face, and shoulders as if it was confirmation that I was really here.

A tear rolled down her face, as she gently stroked her thumb across my cheek.

"Fitz, I've missed you so much." I smiled wider, wiping the tear away from her cheek.

"I've missed you so much too princess. You don't know how happy I am to have found you."

"You don't know how long I've been needing to hear you. To touch you. Talking through letters was never enough for me." I nodded my head, placing my hands on her hips, and placing a kiss on her cheek.

"Me too darling. Every second of every day, you were always on my mind. I love you so much princess." She smiled, closing the gap between us. The kiss felt like heaven. And even though she's been here, her lips were as soft as ever. I needed her so much, even more than I realized. We soon broke apart, and she rested her head on my shoulder.

"I love you so much too, Fitzy." It felt like heaven when I heard her say that. I hated the nickname, but my heart raced when she said it.

She soon raised her head, looking confused.

"Sweetheart, I'm so happy that I saw you. But what are you doing here?"

"Yesterday evening, I heard my parents talking about your kidnapping. And so, when I found out, I decided to look for you. And at some point, when I was walking up a hill in the woods, I eventually got kidnapped and ended up here." She playfully slapped my chest.

"Fitz why would you do that? That was so stupid." Damn she looks so adorable right now.

"Princess I'm only stupid in love with you." Her eyes softened. "Whatever you do, I'll do it with you. Even if you got kidnapped. I came here to find and save you, and I still plan on doing so. We're going to get out of here together." She kissed me again, and my heart raced even faster.

"You promise?" She asked once we broke apart.

"Well so far I haven't broken any promises yet, and I don't plan on it. I promise love." She smiled, wrapping her arms around my waist bringing me in a hug again.

"I wonder how I ended up with someone like you. I don't deserve you." I shook my head, resting it on top of hers.

"Soph you deserve someone who treats you like the queen that you are. I'm the one who's undeserving of you." She shook her head.
