Prigkhing parked her car in front of the gym, taking a deep breath as she adjusted her Lulu Lemon outfit in the rearview mirror. 

The sky-blue set hugged her just right—she wasn't about to leave anything to chance. Her phone, perched precariously on the dashboard, was still on a call with Becky, who was giving her unsolicited commentary.

"God, Becks, stop whining. It's your fault you're not here with me," Prig groaned, snatching her Stanley bottle.

Becky's sarcastic laugh crackled through the line. "Excuse me, Prig, but if you hadn't described that gym as 'the place where thirst traps come alive' in front of my girlfriend, maybe I'd have joined you. But no, now Freen's got me on a leash."

She'd specifically chosen this gym because it was rumored to be a hot spot for singles... well, more specifically, a hot spot for people who liked to have hot dates, if you catch her drift. They said you walked in single and left... well, let's just say "pregnant" was the joke around town.

She was desperate for something new. After all, Prig had never really been lucky in love, so this was her shot.

Prig rolled her eyes dramatically. "Y'all got your clingy girls, and I'm out here fishing in this big-ass gym alone. Do you know how much it costs for a one-month membership? Almost my whole salary, Becks! If I don't find my soulmate in there, I swear I'll demand a refund and burn this building to the ground."

Becky chuckled. "You could've taken grumpy Orm with you."

"Nope," Prig said, shaking her head so hard she almost knocked her AirPods out. "So she can steal all the hot girls? Pass. It's bad enough that you two already stole my daddies —Now I'm an orphan, Becky! An orphan!"

Becky rolled her eyes sighing. "Can you just enter already? I have work, unlike someone who ditched their job to go flirt with gym rats."
