FINAL CHAPTER

Third Person's POV

Time flies so fast. It was already 7:00pm in the evening. Gwen still in her bathrobes, is now ready to explain her side of the story.

Sheena on the other hand, sits quietly, not her usual self. If she'll be honest, she's not in the right mind to even listen to any kind of explanation.

But this has to be settled one way or another. Because their callbacks is gonna be in 3 days. The possibility of them, working at the same company is so high.

Sheena doesn't have choices like Gwen does. She knows how hard it will be, to find a big company like StarMake it. That is opportunity right there.

Yeah sure love is her priority but she also has dreams of her own. She's already 24 yrs of age. While the saying goes, age doesn't matter, it does for her.

She's just both starting to feel being in love for first time in her life while also pursuing a career out of passion.

At the back of her mind, she hopes to still experience the best of both worlds.

"Start asking questions and I'll answer them one by one, Sheena." Gwen starts the conversation that will determine the fate of their relationship, tonight.

"Ok, wala nang paliguy-ligoy pa. Niligawan mo lang ba ako kasi nalaman mong ako ang tumanggap nung puso? Kailan mo pa nalaman?" Sheena starts questioning with voice that's calm but with firmness to each word uttered.

Gwen sigh deeply " No.. I didn't even know that you were the recipient not until I came back from Isabela and the Arcetas reached out to spill everything"

Sheena was slightly relieved that it does seems to be either coincidence or destiny. But she still can't understand why there is a need to hide it from her leading her to following up another question.

"Then why didn't you tell me nung nalaman mo? Alam mo naman pala na hinahanap ako nung mag-asawa? Bakit kinailangan ko pang malaman sa iba? Do you plan on keeping this from me?" The tone of annoyance is clearly heard from those consecutive queries.

"I had to admit.. N-natakot ako at oo sumagi sa isip kong wag na lang sabihin kasi naalala mo ba nung paulit-ulit mo rin sinabi na you're scared about competing with a first love?"

Sheena remembers and tries to understand where the fear is coming from.

"Alam mo bang nasa Bataan pa lang tayo, sigurado na ko sayo?" Gwen looks at Sheena with convincing eyes. Making the younger lose her angry facade.

"A-ano?" Sheena stutters.

"Like you, I also questioned myself bakit ang bilis. Pero Stacey made me realize that the heart knows no timeline when it comes to love.. Each day na nakakasama kita, my heart beats for you and you alone." Gwen added.

"Isa pa Matagal nakong nakamove on kay Aiah before I even met you. Yes, I wasn't ready to talk about her not because siya parin yung laman neto.." Gwen paused as she points to her left side of her chest. "Ang alam ko lang is that, my past relationship will not define the love that I have for you in the present.."

Sheena's heartbeat was so strong as she holds her left side of the chest with her right hand and squeezes it.

"Naconfirm ko na to, lalo nung nakita ko ang exact replica ni Aiah, in Maya. I knew right there and then na, I'm already moved on and that I have fallen for you, because you are you, regardless if that's your original heart or not. Oo Sheena, minahal kita bilang Sheena hindi bilang pangalawang Aiah sa buhay ko." Gwen continues.
