At the coffee shop

Colet already ordered a coffee for her and Gwen. Sa tagal na rin nilang magkaibigan ay kabisado na niya ang favorite drinks, desserts, and even ang fave niyang order sa Jollibee which is cheesy yumburger at spaghetti. Nagtalo pa nga sila dati sa kung bakit nag order si Colet ng extra rice para sa spaghetti niya, not until matikman din yun ni Gwen at maconvince siyang sumali sa carbs-on-carbs-club. "Diba sabe sayo, sarap ulamin ang jollispag?" She recalls in her thoughts as she waits for her long time pal.

Ready na siyang harapin muli ang babaeng unang nagpabaluktot ng preference niya in a relationship. Hindi man niya maintindihan kung bakit kung anong tagal ng nararamdaman niya para kay Gwen ay siya namang kay bilis nawala.

She won't deny that Maloi indeed helped her realize things about love. Maybe she only fell for the girl because she felt the need to take care of her, in the absence of Aiah, her bestfriend. Colet: A-andyan ka na pala.

Gwen sat on the chair opposite to hers.

Gwen: You okay? Lalim naman ng iniisip mo. You didn't even notice I was here na.

Colet shook her head.

Colet: Oo naman, I-I'm good. May naaalala lang. Inorder ko na nga pala yung go-to coffee drink mo. I hope you don't mind.

Gwen curved a smiled. Until now natatouch parin siya sa thought na Colet knows her really well. Baka nga mas marami na siyang alam na paborito niya, over her first love. That's understandable. They've been friends for more than 5 years na. If ikacount din yung time na Aiah was still here.

Yet this didn't really made her fall for Cole. Either her eyes, rather her heart, is closed for a long time nang madevelop ang feelings neto sa kanya, or talagang kaibigan lang ang tingin niya rito.

Colet: Wag kang ngumiti nang may meaning oy. Peace offering ko to. We weren't really able to talk it out last time kasi busy tayo sa mga shocking revelations ni Tita Lou. Walang malisya yan. Wala ka na magagawa if kabisado ko na ang mga likes and dislikes mo.

Gwen: I know. Why so defensive. That's so not you, Cole. haha.

Colet doesn't want to get things awkward. They're supposed to patch things up and save their friendship. Just when she was about to change the topic, napansin niyang may mapula sa leeg ni Gwen na kanina niya pa pasimpleng kinakamot.

Colet: W-wait? Don't tell me. Kumain ka ng
T-tuyo?! Diba you're allergic dun?!

Napatingin naman ang mga tao sa kabilang table ng medyo napalakas ang boses ni Colet. Her voice is actually filled with concern rather than surprise.

Gwen: Hehe. Isang bite lang naman. Good thing sa leeg lang lumitaw mawawala rin yan mamaya. hindi na need inuman ng gamot. Trust me.

Colet really knows her well. Pati na yung mga health-related matters like allergies alam niya rin talaga lalo pa't she's in the medical field.
