❛ last night, he felt a spark ❜▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂
With a yawn, a black haired boy slowly rises up from his bed, his eyes fluttering open as he took a few blinks to adjust to the lighting of the room. It wasn't really early in the morning but it was about time that he woke up.
Ruffling his hair, a yawn escapes his pinkish lips once more, his eyes still closed as he moved to sit up, his back arched a bit. "Oh good, you're finally up." He opens one eye, seeing his brother Renjun fixing his bed which was next to his.
"Your friends are waiting for you at the archery field."
"Friends?" He grumbled. The thought made him stir from his position, his hand reaching up to rub his eye. He didn't have friends, at least that's what he thought.
"Yeah, Yushi. The one's you've been training archery with."
Oh. Them. Yushi thought and let out his third yawn before standing up to stretch his body. "Are they waiting for me?" He mumbled out, a bit lazy to speak properly. It wasn't the first time he did this which is why Renjun could easily register what the younger was talking about in his mind.
"Pretty much. I mean, that Apollo kid dropped by here earlier but you were so deep in your slumber."
Yushi sighed, standing up from his bed to fix it. No other words were heard from him so Renjun took it as a sign to leave but before he even took another step further, Yushi suddenly speaks. "Where are you off to this early in the morning?"
"Early?" Renjun almost cackled. "It's 10 AM, Yushi. Oh, and I'm off to see Jaeyoung."
"You always see Jaeyoung." The boy mumbled under his breath and despite that Renjun still managed to catch his words, the older stifling his laugh.
"I can't believe I'm saying this but, there's a thing called love, you should try it sometimes."
Yushi's face grimaced at his words and he instantly shook his head. "No, thanks." The boy wasn't one for relationships. Most especially romantic relationships. Sure, he had a few moments where he'd think about a girl for a number of minutes, but that's it. Never did those moments convert into anything more. There were no feelings or attachments involved which lead to the idea that having crushes were an unknown territory to him.
Renjun knew well what Yushi's response would be, thus making him retort in a low voice, "Wait 'til you meet her."
Confused, Yushi tilted his head. "Her?"
