It was finally the last day of the three-day Apollo's Music Festival at Camp Half-Blood. Everyone was excited for the grand talent show that was going to happen tonight at the amphitheater. Most of the demigods who were going to perform tonight were already preparing and doing soundchecks—that is except for one.
Riku made his way through the row of booths, marching towards a specific booth decorated in pink paint with red hearts adorning the outside posts. "Is Aeri here?!" He questioned, walking into the booth where he spotted the said girl seated on a chair, printing from the love heart generator for her current client.
Riku stood by the entrance, waiting for the current client as they squealed upon seeing their compatibility score with their love match before thanking Aeri and proceeding to leave. Once the client was gone, Aeri furrowed her eyebrows at Riku who stomped towards her, suddenly engulfing her in a big warm hug.
Confused, the girl slowly wraps her arms around his waist, gently patting the small of his back. It was by then that she noticed that he was wearing something different other than the usual Camp Half-Blood shirt and jeans that he always sported. He was wearing a white long-sleeved shirt, topping it with what seemed like a black long-sleeve top with a web-like design and pattern. He paired it with black leather pants and heavy silver jewelry around his neck. He even had his hair styled to showcase his forehead.
As the boy let go, he held her by her shoulders, his chest heaving up and down as he looked like a nervous wreck. Aeri instantly frowned, her hand reaching up to lightly brush away his bangs that loosely fell on his forehead. "You okay, Kuri?"
The boy doesn't speak but engulfs her in another hug, only this one is much tighter than the first one. He finally lets go with a big sigh of relief, a smile creeping up his face. "I am now!" He said cheerfully as if he had just been recharged.
"What's up? I like the whole look you've got going on." She whistled, eyeing him up and down causing his ears to burn red.
"I may have dressed pretty for you to see, but I have this performance at the amphitheater tonight! I'm gonna go ahead for soundcheck in a couple of minutes and I decided to stop by to recharge myself with a hug from my one and only Aeri!" He grinned, grabbing both of her hands and swaying them along his.
"You signed up for the talent show?" Aeri looked up at him in shock to which he only responded with a gleeful nod. "You're definitely going to do amazing, Riku. I'll cheer for you!"
