Riku could still remember the first time he saw Aeri.
It was the summer of last year when a bunch of Apollo kids decided to throw a summer talent contest. Almost everyone came to watch and Riku was there with his friends. Sakuya was ushering them to sit down when he turned around spotting a group of girls entering the camp's amphitheater.Unbothered, he faced the front to join in the small talk his friend group had created. It wasn't until the beginning of the talent show that he glanced at the back again, making eye contact with one of the girls. Out of a sudden, a wave of electric shock went through his body causing him to flinch in his seat, abruptly turning back towards the stage.
Ryo, who sat beside him, noticed his weird behavior and called him out. "You okay?"
Riku nodded almost immediately, his hand over his chest, feeling the fast pace of his heartbeat. He slowly craned his head back, checking the girl, only to see her happily conversing with the girl beside her.
Hair red as a cherry and eyes as green as the forest.
Ever since that day, he never forgot about her. From stealing glances whenever she came by, trying to talk to her siblings in hopes of getting information about her, and finally being able to talk to her when she had first approached him. Riku had always been shy, but to Aeri, he had to be a little bit more brave and bold if he wanted to be noticed.
He didn't really know what happened. He remembered getting drinks and then... and then when he came back, Aeri was nowhere to be found. Wait, how long was I getting drinks for? He questioned himself as he stood by the bonfire where they were supposed to be sitting together. He looks down at the yogurt drink in hand, a frown on his face.
"Are you looking for Aeri?" Jaehee asked, a bit too loudly causing Yushi to perk up from his own drink. Right, where did the girl go?
The son of Athena wanted to talk to Aeri a while ago after she suddenly left him standing confused. Though, he never really got his chance to talk to her considering that Riku was the one who brought her with him. That, and someone suddenly talked to him.
Riku nodded, concern evident in his eyes as he looked around in hopes of catching a glimpse of the girl but all he saw was Sion walking back to where they sat. Sion seemed to be in a daze, blinking a couple of times to regain his senses, and shaking his head a bit. "Ugh, what was that." He murmured, feeling odd.
"Aeri left a while ago. She seemed pretty hurt from what I saw." Sakuya interjected, pointing an accusing finger towards Riku. "You left her alone waiting for probably an hour."
