"This," Aeri began gesturing to him and her, "whatever this is, has to stop."

Chanyoung kept repeating the same scenario over and over again as he lay in his bed tonight. He tossed and turned in his bed, deep in thought about what had happened a few hours ago. Maybe Aeri was right about everything. Maybe he's going a bit too far.

It's true, though. Seeing as Aeri was the one who he first saw before ending up at camp, the girl who brought him to the infirmary, and the girl who showed her around. It was
natural for him to cling to her, at least that's what he initially thought. Maybe he was a bit infatuated by her which caused him to be a bit possessive, albeit at first, he didn't think it would be a problem but apparently Aeri's taken.

"Even if Yushi hasn't asked me officially yet, I love him truly and I don't think that'll change."

Well, ain't that the sign to stop?

Chanyoung sighed deeply, burying his face into the palms of his hands. He totally messed up and he needs to fix things up. He sat up on his bed, running a hand over his face as he let out another sigh. He knows he should fix things up but where should he start? As he sat down, he heard the floor creak making him look up from his hands, seeing Jaeyun walk towards his own bed.

"Still up?" Jaeyun questioned the younger demigod, brushing his hair with the small towel in his hand. He had just finished showering and was now getting ready to go to bed.

"I messed up."

Jaeyun sat down on his bed which was just beside Chanyoung's, an eyebrow quirking up as he hummed back in response. "You mean, what happened at the archery range?"

Chanyoung nods his head, going back to completely lay down on his back. "I just... I couldn't help it! I know what I've been doing is wrong and I want to make things right... I just— how?"

"Well, for starters... have you apologized?"

"N–Not really..." The new demigod murmured, letting his head fall back onto his pillow. He could still remember how their talk ended up with him not being able to say anything back. It's not that he had anything to say in return anyway—everything happened so quickly that he just stood there dumbfounded by her words. His silence eventually resulted in Aeri leaving him behind standing there.

"You can definitely start there. There's a bonfire tomorrow night at the Fireworks Beach, you can apologize there! Oh, and some of the Apollo kids are planning on a little jam— do you sing?"
