finding the right match, or so she tries

"You're late." Aeri stated, her arms crossed in front of her chest as she impatiently tapped her foot against the soil. She stood in front of the temple-looking-cabin with large columns, a red roof, and an owl carved on the door. It was the Athena cabin. Now, what was she doing at the Athena cabin you might ask.

Well, she wanted to see Yushi for a bit to talk, and she also had that archery training with him.

The black-haired boy closed the door behind him as pursed his lips, glancing down at his wristwatch to check the time. He instantly scowled, furrowing his eyebrows. "I'm not late!"

Aeri laughed at his expression, reaching out to nudge his shoulder. "I'm just kidding!" Yushi flinched at her touch, feeling that weird tingle. Although he wanted to address why he kept getting that feeling whenever their skin happened to be in contact, he shook his head, wanting to dismiss his thoughts and began to walk beside her.

"Why did we have to meet up this early in the morning again?"

"Well, I wanted to talk to you about some things and I wanted to train archery while it's still early. I mean, I've got lots of work to do after." By 'lots of work' it meant that she had matchmaking duties to fulfill. Matchmaking doesn't happen overnight, you know.

Yushi slowly nodded his head at her words, falling silent for a bit. Was this okay? Him hanging out with her. He couldn't help but worry because what if Riku and Sion saw him? They wouldn't dare put any malice to his actions, right? But he knew Sion well and knew how the son of Zeus would most likely jump into conclusions. Though he hoped that wouldn't happen with him because Sion knew about him helping the girl with his archery training, so that wouldn't be problem, hopefully.

"Sooo..." Yushi prolonged, easily gaining the redhead's attention. "Talk. You wanted to talk, right?"

"Right!" She chirped and brought out her pink notebook. It was something Yushi was unfamiliar with. Just where was she hiding that pink notebook? "You wanted my help in finding your match, right?"

Oh no. He completely forgot about that. How was he gonna escape this now? At first, he did want her help but now that it was clear to him who the girl was, he didn't really want her help anymore—actually, he wished to stay away from her before his feelings get even deeper.

But he couldn't. No matter how hard he tried to avoid her and his feelings for her—he couldn't. Ever since the night she bumped into him, she would now appear randomly in some of his days. He couldn't help but wonder, why now?
