"Your feelings are completely valid, Yunmi." The redhead spoke as she comforted the girl sniffling beside her. Aeri had been peacefully eating her breakfast when Yunmi stomped into the dining pavilion looking for her. It was something about a boy not noticing Yunmi's attempts in getting his attention.
"It's so annoying because Jeno was the first to make a move on me but then suddenly he's ignoring me?"
Aeri tilted her head, reaching her hand out to gently rub the girl's back. "Well, what did you do to get his attention?"
"They performed a few songs at the amphitheater a few days ago, and I was there. I waved to him a couple of times but he just looked past me."
The Aphrodite girl pressed her lips together as she rethought about Yunmi's whole situation. "And you've stopped talking to him ever since that happened?" She asks, wanting confirmation. Yunmi slowly nodded at her as she wipes away her tears with a tissue.
"Well, did you know that he has bad vision?"
Yunmi stopped wiping her tears, blinking for a bit before staring directly at Aeri who had both of her eyebrows raised expectantly. "No... I did not know that." She answers causing Aeri to facepalm and chuckle.
"Yunmi-ah, I'm sure Jeno's still interested in you he's just... a little blind— literally, that's all." Aeri snorts, propping an elbow onto the table. She stirs the pumpkin soup in front of her, glancing at Yunmi from time to time. "I suggest you try talking to him again, explain your side and what you thought happened. You almost gave me a heart attack when you said Jeno's not interested in you anymore when all he's been blabbering about is you."
Yunmi felt herself warm up as the tips of her ears began to turn pink. "You didn't have to tell me that."
Aeri rolls her eyes and waves her off. "Go find your lover boy!"
"I will! Thanks, Aeri! You're the best!" The said girl nods, writing a few notes into her pink notebook before going back to eating her pumpkin soup.
"Hey, Aeri!"
She peers up from her pumpkin soup in confusion only for her lips to form a smile, seeing a cheery Riku walking over to her with his tray of food. "Mind if I sit here?" He questions, pointing at the empty seat in front of her.
She shakes her head, gesturing towards the seat, "Not at all!"
As Riku settled in his seat, he grabs one of the yogurt drinks from his tray and placed it beside Aeri's bowl. The girl looks up at him, raising a brow at his action. "I heard you also like this yogurt drink so I got you some." He simply said, a small smile on his face.
