Every holiday, Shao Yujie is almost never in the shop. When the students have a break, so does she.

In the milk tea shop, only four student workers remained.

Zhu Tong was working on a problem. Earlier, he was interrupted while sitting at a dining table, and he still hadn't finished a physics problem.

Shao Ming was making a milkshake. There were no customers at the moment, so it wasn't clear who it was for.

Lu Zheyu was cleaning the counter... He seemed incapable of staying idle for even a moment. Even if there was no work, he would find something to do. If he took on a part-time job at another store, he would certainly be the most popular worker.

Luo Su, on the other hand, appeared idle, glancing around restlessly.

To his left was Lu Zheyu.

It was known that he and Zhuo Yunan were acquaintances, but he didn't seem to show much familiarity with Zhuo Yunan, nor did he seem to have any intention of explaining this to the others.

His attitude towards Zhuo Yunan could almost be described as indifferent... though, to be fair, he was distant with everyone.

And Zhuo Yunan seemed used to this aloofness; after their unsuccessful attempt to reconnect, she left decisively.

Luo Su was curious about the relationship between Lu Zheyu and Zhuo Yunan, a curiosity that gnawed at him. What made it even more frustrating was that he had no one to share his curiosity with!

The only two potential listeners seemed uninterested in the matter.

Was it because they had their own things on their minds?

Luo Su knew about Shao Ming's biological father in City A, who even wanted to take him back. During Shao Ming's first year of high school, his father even had someone keep an eye on him.

But Shao Ming had no intention of going back.

He consistently refused to acknowledge his background, and in Gongshui County, hardly anyone knew of his true identity.

Why had someone suddenly come looking for him?

What had happened during those days when Ming-ge went to City A?

What might he be thinking now that the identity he most loathed had been revealed in front of the person he liked?

Luo Su couldn't help but worry about his "right side."

Today, he had gained new insights about Zhu Tong. He felt that Zhu Tong's family background was like a bottomless pit—vast and unfathomable.

Would someone like him even have his family's approval to be with Ming-ge?

Tsk, he was getting worked up on their behalf; how troubled must the person in question be?

As he was thinking about this, he saw the troubled individual hand over a freshly made milkshake to Young Master Zhu.

"Try it, mango milkshake."

"..."

Zhu Tong glanced over, not even putting down his pen. He simply leaned forward to take a sip through the straw that Shao Ming offered.

The milkshake Shao Ming made was warm, with a smooth and creamy texture and a rich fruity aroma.

Zhu Tong's eyes brightened. "It's good."

Shao Ming asked, "Which one's better, this or the pudding tapioca drink?"

The milk tea from earlier was still on the counter. Zhu Tong turned to glance at it, then back at the milkshake in Shao Ming's hand. After a moment of thought, he looked up and said, "They're both delicious."
