Before the weekend break, the math teacher gave a pop quiz, and Zhu Tong scored a perfect score. Only four students in the entire class managed to achieve a perfect score.
This made the young master incredibly happy—he practically wanted to leap onto his deskmate to celebrate.
However, being in the classroom and due to his reserved nature, he couldn't bring himself to act that openly.
The students around Zhu Tong were amazed at his progress, repeatedly looking over his quiz paper.
"With a study god tutor, it's a whole different story. This solution is really impressive."
"Hey, study god, that's not fair! When will you share some of that knowledge with the rest of us?"
Someone joked with a smile, and Shao Ming replied casually, "No problem. It just means starting with ten practice sheets daily, completing both in-class and homework assignments on time, arriving twenty minutes early for morning study, staying up thirty minutes past bedtime, and not dozing off in class. How about that?"
"..."
After he listed his demands, everyone looked at him with a "you've got to be kidding" expression.
One of them then turned to Zhu Tong with sympathy, "Do you really endure this kind of inhumane treatment every day?"
Before Zhu Tong could respond, Shao Ming pulled him close. "Of course, look at him—he's practically wasting away. It's so heartbreaking."
Zhu Tong: "..."
His weight had actually gone up.
The others noticed too, but they wisely chose not to say anything.
Recently, Shao Ming's behavior in the classroom almost screamed, "We're dating."
Who could have imagined that the once widely recognized campus heartthrob, who remained unmoved even when Xia Yang pursued him so publicly, would end up falling for his new desk mate?
Zhu Tong's changes were also apparent to everyone.
Although his improved grades were partly thanks to Shao Ming's help, most of it came down to his own hard work. His dedication had even become an example for the teachers to motivate other students.
He also looked much healthier now. He used to sit out during P.E. classes, but lately, he'd even started to join in.
Seeing Zhu Tong's progress firsthand, the class president and a few other girls couldn't help but feel protective, "Zhu Tong, how are you feeling lately? Remember to balance study with rest, don't overwork yourself."
Zhu Tong replied, "I..."
"Yeah, I heard that overloading the brain can lead to sudden collapse!"
"Plus, it might turn you into a bookworm. And you're so good-looking—what a waste it would be if you turned into a bookworm!"
Zhu Tong smiled helplessly, "I haven't been overworking. I do take breaks."
Even when he didn't want to relax, Shao Ming would make sure he did.
Though the way Shao Ming made him take breaks was always a bit hard to put into words.
"Oh, how about we hang out this weekend and take a break? Last time, after the study god won the competition, we just had a meal and left. This time, let's go somewhere fun! How about karaoke?"
Someone nearby immediately chimed in agreement.
But Zhu Tong shook his head, "No, I've already got plans this weekend."
