The Gyeongbuk Center for Creative Economy & Innovation (Director: Lee Moon-rak) is recruiting companies to participate in the "2023 Gyeongbuk Innovation Venture Accelerating Program" until the 21st. This program aims to support the global growth of promising startups and venture companies in the region.

The program offers tailored support for each company by matching them with top-tier global accelerators, allowing for a strategic entry into the international market. It is divided into two stages: in the first stage, 15 companies will be selected, and in the second stage, 6 companies will move forward.

The first stage includes global consulting and commercialization support. Global consulting consists of a corporate diagnosis, KPI setting, and overseas market research for global expansion. Additionally, "IR Pitching Training" will be provided, supporting the creation of global IR materials and pitching skill training. Selected companies will also receive commercialization support grants of approximately KRW 10 million for creating overseas marketing materials.

In the second stage, companies will receive on-site global consulting and attend an investment presentation. They will have the opportunity to visit overseas locations for expert consultations and participate in startup events.

Last year, companies such as Quantamaterials (CEO: Kwon Jun-beom, specializing in gallium oxide powder for power semiconductors) achieved export revenues of $100,000, while Jina F&C (CEO: Song Yeon-sil, focusing on traditional fermented Korean sauces) realized $25,000 in exports. InHand Plus (CEO: Lee Hwi-won, providing a personalized AI medication management platform) won an innovation award at "2023 CES," showcasing the ongoing success of the program's global support efforts.

The program is open to startups registered in Gyeongbuk, with business licenses issued before the announcement date, and must be under 7 years old. However, companies that have previously participated in the same or similar programs organized by Gyeongsangbuk-do or the Gyeongbuk Center for Creative Economy & Innovation are ineligible. Applications can be submitted via email until 5:00 PM on the 21st.
