Creating Advertising Videos and Images Fion Corporation, which serves AI SaaS "VCAT.AI (hereinafter referred to as Vcat)," announced on the 4th that it has attracted 10.5 billion won from Series A investment. Vcat was launched a year ago as a service that can produce dozens of advertising videos and banner images within minutes with just the product URL, and has also been selected for the Tips program and the preliminary unicorn business.
In the round, VCat secured 8.5 billion won from venture capital (VC) and 2 billion won from the Korea Technology Guarantee Fund. Premier Partners, Smilegate Investment, KT Investment and KB Investment participated in the investment, and existing investors continued to make follow-up investments.
Kim Ho-kyung, a senior judge at Premier Partners who led the investment, said, "A team of ad tech experts who experienced a successful IPO has innovatively improved the advertising content production process with AI technology," adding, "Vcat has proved its growth potential as a SaaS solution that can be scaled up by signing contracts with large platform companies one after another."
