This system uses hologram and Internet of Things (IoT) sensor technology to float a button image in the air in three dimensions. Daewoo Industrial Development explains that the risk of virus infection can be reduced by allowing buttons to be operated without separate contact.
Daewoo Industrial Development first applied this system to the outdoor elevator in the 'Ian the Bucheon' apartment complex, which began moving in in December last year. Daewoo Industrial Development plans to expand the scope of application in the future by reviewing the system's ease of use, functionality, and satisfaction.
An official from Daewoo Industrial Development said, "Starting with the introduction of the non-contact 3D hologram touch system, we will continue to introduce safe and satisfactory systems that can improve the quality of life using cutting-edge IT technology."
