At the movies

We were at the movies waiting in line to book the tickets for Insidious.

"Niall!is that you?" A girl asked from behind us.

Niall turned and said,
"Hayley?"

"Omg!Niall been so long since I seen you.."she said and hugged him.

"Yeah! Since our last date...sorry about that..."he said still hugging her.

"Hey why don't you and me go on a date right now? Watch a movie?" She asked looking at him cheekily. Looking at her dress and tone I knew she was no one but just like one of those sluts.

"Okay sure!that sounds great..." Niall said. I just nudged him.

"Who is she?" That girl asked.

"Oh..erm This is Merryl my bestfriend and Mer this is Hayley my ex gf..."Niall introduced.
I don't know why but those words hurt me.She just gave me a stare.

"You and me were going to watch right?" I asked him.

"Omg,I am sorry it slipped out of my mind...Sorry...but we three can" Niall said.

"Erm okay ...I think I can handle a third wheel..." Hayley said.

"No Niall..you both continue...Some other time okay, I need to rest so.. bye" I said.

"Stay please Mer," He insisted.

"I don't want to be a third wheel..anyway I got some work... I'll catch you later..." I said. Hayley was getting happier I seen. I stared at her wishing looks could kill.

"Okay then, take care..." he said kissed my cheek and I left pushing Hayley away.

They got tickets and I seen their hands linked so I just kinda walked faster. What was happening? Why was I feeling this way? I was so lost in thoughts I collided with a guy.

"Omg,I am so sorry" I said and when I looked it was Luke,the cute guy from class that I probably was crushing over.

"Hey,its okay... are you okay? You seem lost.."he said smiling little.

"Yeah I am fine... just walking home..." I told him.

"Mind if I walked you there? I was going that close to your place..." he said and looked down.

Omg he is so cute... ahhh my mind said inside.

"Um yeah sure...better than being alone!" I said and blushed.

We were walking. I kept looking at him. He was so nice. I wished he was single.

"Hey,erm I was wondering if you had a boyfriend?" He was nervous I could tell.

"Erm,No I-I don't...why you ask?" I blushed.

"Maybe,because I kinda like you? And wondered if you wanna go on a date with me..."he said.

"Well you should be happy...because I like you too...I guess...and I would..." I smiled.

He smiled at me. We reached my place. I hugged him tightly. Probably needed that. He hugged me even more tightly. I let go after a min or so. I kissed his cheek and turned to walk in.

"Merryl?" He stopped me.

I turned. He came and the next minute I knew our lips connected. I could feel him smile through the kiss. We pulled back. I looked at him and smiled widely.

"I will pick you at 7 okay? Ill be cooking too.." he said.

"Okay..." I looked away biting my lip with a smile.

I went inside.Kris was home. And Evanna too was there. They I guess seen what happend.

"Why did Luke or whatever his name was from class kiss you?" Kris questioned me.

"Well,maybe because he and me are together!" I said blushing.

"Omg Whaaaaatt!" Both said together.

"Why?whats wrong?" I looked up at them.

"Nothing!its just that Its LUKEEE!" Evanna screamed.

"I know?" I laughed.

"Well he is hot plus I am sure a pretty good cook.and a good kis-.." Kris said.

"Shut up!!!" I interupted.

"Look who's blushing!" Evanna teased me.

"Guys cmon! Now I need to get ready,I just have 45minutes." I said tying my hair into a bun and walking towards my wardrobe.

"I'll help you pick!" Evanna said and I agreed.

"I'll do your hair!" Kris said.

Evanna chose a maroon full sleeved top that had this bow behind below the neck and some high waisted jeans.
Kris got my hair into a waterfall braid and I just put on some mascara and gloss.

While they left me to get my touch up my phone rang.

It was Niall. I picked and he said.

"Hey are you okay?"

"Yeah I am...how was the date?"

"It was not exactly a date but I think Hayley and me are back together..."

"Erm that cool?"

"I am sorry about today and about the match too... I promise I'll make it up to you!"

"No Niall its fine. I anyways have plans with Lu-"

"With?"

"Kris"

"Oh okay...anyway Mer call you later okay? Taking her for early dinner..."

"Bye." I hung up. Why was I getting hurt? I like Luke and he likes me. Niall is just my bestfriend. I have to focus on Luke now. As I thought it to myself the bell rang. Luke was at the door. I smiled and hugged him and we left.
