Eighteen

Road Trip

By the time we had returned back home from homecoming it was around 1 am. And we decided to leave at 7 am in the morning so by the time we reached the place it would be 4 in the evening. We were gonna take Liam's car as it was huge enough to fit all 7 of us.

I had set the alarm for 6 a.m. Thinking it was good enough but. As usual,Woke up at 6:30! We literally rushed out of home.

We met the guys at Liam's place. Only Niall was left to come.

"Hey guys!" I greeted them walking towards the car along with Kris and our luggage.

"Here Let me help you with them," Louis said taking the luggage out of my hands and placing them in the car.

"Hey baby!" Harry said to Kris. She hugged him and then they were lost in their own world within seconds!

"Where is Niall?" I asked out of curiosity.

"He texted me he is on his w- oh there he is" Liam pointed to Niall.

He came towards us greeted us. He smiled at me I smiled back and spoke to Evanna.

Liam asked if we were ready to leave and we all screamt yes. Kris and Harry sat right in the back. Liam was driving so obviously Evanna sat with him in the front. I had no choice but sit in between my two bestfriends. Niall to my left and Louis to my right.

"I am sooooo excited!Finally a road trip after a looooonnng time!" I said. All agreed.

Niall removed his camera and began clicking selfies with me and Louis all the way. We were talking,laughing but then from behind there was silence. We turned and realised that Harry and Kris fell asleep. We went all "awww" until Niall put toothpaste on Harry's face.

I couldn't stop laughing. Neither could anyone else. They woke up a little with our laughs.

"Erm,Why are you guys laughing?" Kris asked in her sleepy tone.

I pointed to Harry and she too began laughing. Poor innocent Harry had no idea what was up. I took my phone amd showed him his face through the front camera. He was so angry. All of us bursted into laughter.

Kris handed him the a towel and he wiped it off.

"Are we there yet anyway?" Harry asked.

"No,not yet! Well I am stopping now for lunch!" Liam said.

"Well I am hungry!" Niall said.

"When are you not?" I asked him and raised an eyebrow.

"Oh please.." Niall said.

"Mer,you are saying like you are never hungry!" Louis said.

"I am too but.." they both started annoying me by tickling me.

"Oh-my-Goddd!""ahhh help me!" I could not stop laughing.

Both of my bestfriends knew how ticklish I was.

The rest also were laughing but these two didn't stop.

Finally Kris felt bad and asked them ti stop. I was breathless. I slapped both their arms. They laughed harder at my redness. God I had two mental bestfriends.

"Well guys I am stopping here and we will have to make it quick if we want to reach before its dark."

"Ya okay Liam!" We all said in one tone.

We went and ordered our food. I just had a sandwich and a coffee. Once we were done we sat back in our seats and moved ahead.

After sometime Harry started asking,
"Are we there yet?" Every 5mins.

"You know guys I a-" he interupted me.

"Liam are we there yet?" He asked again.

"Harry I said no! I told you a hundred times!" Liam said getting annoyed.

"Harry,I am trying to sleep here will you just shut up???" Louis said as he rested his head on the side of the window.

"Okay,Okay" Harry said annoyed.

After few mins again he asked.

"Harry will y-" Liam said.

"Liaaaam!you took the wrong left turn!" Niall exclaimed.

"Omg! Now what!" Evanna said.

"Its all because of  Harry!" Liam said.

"Hey don't blame me!" Harry said pouting.

"I WILL WHEN IT WAS!" Liam said completely annoyed.

"WILL YOU GUYS STOP FIGHTING AND LIAM JUST REVERSE!" Niall said.

"Harry now,you are gonna stay quiet for the rest of the journey." I requested him.

"But." He said.

"Please," I said.

"Okay fine." He said and tried falling asleep.

Even I did as the rest fell asleep. In my sleep I did not realise I was resting on Niall's shoulder until he tried waking me up when we reached.

"Pssp,Mer wakey wakey" he said.

I opened my eyes and seen him smiling. I got up and got down.

Wow is all I could say looking at the place. It was so beautiful. There was a view of the calm,vast ocean. There were a lot of trees around. The house was two floored. As Niall said it had 5 bed rooms,A drawing room,swimming pool,library and a area for campfire. It was perfect for a week long holiday.

Louis told me to go in and that he would get my luggage. I had a room to myself,so did Niall and Louis. Harry and Kris shared a room and so did Liam and Evanna. Their rooms were down while our 3 were on top. My room balcony faced the sea shore. Niall's room was next to mine while Louis was opposite near the terrace. First thing I did is put my laptop to charge and went in for a long shower.
