Fight for you

Crystal's P.O.V

I just finished chemistry class and it was break time. I really didn't know where Merryl was.I tried calling but she never answered. I was so worried about her. I checked the cafeteria too but she was nowhere.

I kept searching until I spotted her sitting outside under the tree. I ran to her.

"Merryl!!omg! You know I was looking out for you everywhere?!"

"I am sorry.." she said and stood up.

"Nevermind anyway I have something verrryyyy important!"

"And...what is it?" She asked.

"You won't believe it HARRY PROPOSED ME and now we are officially together!!!! I can't believe it!!" I said and began happy dancing.

She just smiled and said nothing.

"Why are you not HAPPY DANCING!???" I asked her.

"I am happy but I don't feel like dancing..." she said not too happily.

"Is everything alright??" I asked in a worried tone. I knew something was wrong because she was never so quiet before.

"Yes obviously everythings alright...I am just hungry... lets go grab something?" She said.

"Okay then..." and we made our way to the cafeteria. She got her self a sandwich and I just had some orange juice.

Opposite us Niall and Liam and other guys from the team sat. Harry was at the counter getting his order. I noticed that Niall kept looking at Merryl. She didn't look up even once. We did not speak at all.

After a while I seen Niall get up from his seat and walking towards our table. She also noticed and thats when she told me she had to go to the library and left. Niall just looked at her walk away.

I could not let her be sad so I decided to talk to Niall if he knew what happend.

"Niall,can I speak to you for a moment." I said to him as he stood midway.

"Sure."

"Did something happen to her that I am unaware of? Please tell me because I am worried."

"Um nothing...really" he said.

"Cmon tell me." I insisted.

Thats when he told me. I could feel what she felt.

The rest of the day passed quickly. Soon it was time to go home.

At home I tried speaking to her but whenever I brought Niall into the conversation she kept changing topics.

A little while later while I was over the phone with Harry she told me she was going for a walk and left.

Merryls P.O.V

I really needed a break. There is just so much to think about. What am I going to do about Niall...and about Nicks messages.

Yes Nick. He was my Ex. We broke up 3 months ago, because he was cheating on me. I caught him making out with another girl. Not once but twice. He was never serious in a relationship. That is why I hate Niall. Because he reminds me of Nick. Apparently he has begun messaging me that he wants to get back with me and stuff but all I do is ignore.

I was walking down the street when I happend to collide into Nick. I tried running away but he stopped me.

"Baby you and I are getting back together!" He said holding my wrist in his hand.
"Never! Don't even think of it!" I screamt in his face trying to release my hands.

"What did you say?! You know I GET WHAT I WANT! Now cmon kiss me!" He tried kissing me.

I resisted and managed to get my hands out. I slapped him.

"How dare you slap me! Now you pay for it!" He was about to slap me when a familiar voice said,

"Don't you dare touch her or Ill break your face!"

I turned to see it was Niall. What was he doing here.

Niall came and caught Nick's collar.
"How dare you touch her!" He said in an angry tone.

"Oh wow Merryl. Who is he your new boyfriend? Tell him to leave before I break his face!" Nick said to me.

"You are gonna break my face if I feel pity enough to leave you in that condition!" Niall said punching Nick.

The both started fighting. Why was Niall doing this? Why was he fighting over me. I can't let this happen.

I went in between and stopped them.

"Niall,lets leave he is not worth it." I told Niall and caught his hand and walked.

Nick from behind screamt," such a loser!"

Niall stopped he was going to get back to hit Nick but I stopped him.I could not let him be injured more because of me.

Once we found a place in the park we sat down.

"Niall you did not have to do it for me. Look at you,your hurt."

"Of course I had to. If I was not there god alone knows what he would have done." Niall said looking at me.

"But..."

"No buts Merryl...I just wanted to prove you I am not a bad guy."

"I am sorry for what I said to you earlier... thanks for saving me today...I owe you one." I said to him and took out my mini first aid kit and began wiping his wound.

"If you owe me one let me take you out for dinner.. just as friends please..."

"Um okay fine...but don't hurt me okay..."I told him.

"I won't." He smiled.

"Well I better go now... catch you later and... here is my number...tell me where and when and Ill be there." I said getting up.

"Okay but I am dropping you home so I know you are safe." He said.

"Niall no-"

"I am coming thats it. I am not listening to a no." He said.

I finally gave up and agreed.

He dropped me home and while he was leaving I don't know why but I hugged him and thanked him. He was smiling and then he left.

When I got home Kris was waiting at the door for me and she seen the hug,

"What was that??" She asked with suspicion and then I told her the whole story and that Niall and me are now friends...
